15/08/2024: Belle pépite gustative en bord de Dordogne décor soigné aux couleurs douces terrasse fermée donnant sur la Dordogne.
Nous avons opté pour le menu en 7 plats.
Cuisine savoureuse raffinée gourmande avec un accord mets /vins sympa.
Nous y reviendrons en famille fin août.

01/08/2024: An admirable service both giving you the impression of being an important customer but also a relaxation and humor which means that it is not heavy, we loved it.
18th century decor for me totally outdated, no contemporary note to brighten it up, it's "sad" old-fashioned.
The cuisine is excellent but there are so many ingredients that you can't find the flavors. Not clear enough but very refined.

03/09/2024: To avoid and flee. We wanted to take a la carte menus in fact we took the main course. Didn't even have time to place the entire order, that is to say starter, main course and dessert.
We waited for our dishes for 45 minutes. The wine we got was a large bottle instead of a small one. Other customers arrived after us and we were served before us. The bill was spiced up more than €150, it's a steal. I will not advertise to them. 😠😡

11/08/2024: The Phileas is the little place that you would like to keep just for yourself... But impossible, I always end up breaking down to bring a colleague or even several! The kitchen is great. Perfect value for money. In winter a warm interior, in summer a warm and shaded terrace.
I don't have the chance to "know" the restaurant team. On the other hand, I have the feeling that each member counts as two. The waiter is working hard, we feel that this is the case in the kitchen too. I see an act of purchase as a sign of membership and support, and know that I love to support you by coming to eat at your place.
Remember to take care of yourself and your teams. You deserve it.

After this disaster I took refuge in the little Italian place on the same street which was delicious,

Warm, slightly subdued setting.
A warm, smiling and professional welcome.
More or less we would be in a gastronomic establishment which I would rename today as semi-gastronomic due to the presentation of the dishes, the tempting smell of the aromas when the plate arrives.
Use of transport plates for cutlery, unprecedented speed for bringing dishes.
Entree, main course, dessert, coffee in less than 45 minutes, never before seen and at an affordable price…
I can only recommend

Mon couvert était sale, personne n’a voulu me le changer et on m’a donné une fourchette en bois, sous prétexte qu’ils fermaient bientôt. J’ai du y aller une seconde fois pour qu’ils veuillent bien me l’échanger contre un couvert PROPRE.
17/02/2024: Good but nothing crazy either, I had pasta with mushroom sauce and I found it very expensive for a pasta dish... it's a shame it doesn't make me want to come back.

Very good, one of the best tacos I have eaten, the products are of quality, nothing to do with most tacos.
Very good surprise for us, we will come back.
18/08/2024: First time coming with my partner, we are delighted with the tacos we ate. Quality product and fair price. To highlight HOMEMADE FRIES! A delight! Excellent welcome, smiling and professional. During the wait I would like to point out that the place is very, very clean and that the cooks wear gloves. I highly recommend and we will come back without hesitation.

17/08/2024: Exaggerated prices... from memory having fries next to or in the kebab is not the same price lol or something like that... small portion... vine leaves forgotten in my order... I don't will not come back. Certainly, all kebabs have become stingy in terms of portions, however the prices are of course increasing! Anyway, the kebabs these days, and not just those from Cappadoce, are disappointing.... Ahhh the EXCELLENT kebabs at 6 euros, I miss the menu from a few years ago haha!
28/07/2024: I have been a customer for ten years! I take the same composition and the fries have been cooked for a while… they look like rubber, too bad!
