The meal was very good with beautiful presentation, perfect for a lunch with family and friends.

09/09/2026: It's a shame I can't give it more than 5 stars; it's a spectacular place.
A charming spot, and from the moment you arrive, you know you're going to have a great dinner because of how full the parking lot is.
The waitress and the manager were very friendly, offering us different tables to choose from and apologizing for the noise from a celebration they were having.
They have a wine list, and while the menu isn't huge, it does include meat, fish, and vegetarian options.

19/08/2026: We had been planning to come for a long time. Our son's birthday provided the perfect opportunity.
It was perfect, starting with the view of the Dordogne River and the visual delight of the dishes. The meals on the "Water and Riverbanks" menu were exquisitely prepared.
We also appreciated the helpful guidance in choosing wines to accompany our lunch.
We will gladly return.

05/09/2026: My only regret is that I was cold throughout the meal because the air conditioning was too strong, despite my complaint. Of course, in the middle of summer, the staff were still wearing winter clothes. The food was exceptional and the staff charming.
30/07/2026: The service and the food were both superb, making for a truly wonderful experience. I opted for the lobster and wine pairing, which were perfect choices. The dishes featured unfamiliar African spices, creating a unique French culinary experience. The dishes combined complex elements while maintaining a harmonious balance, and the prompt and excellent service left me completely satisfied. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and good cheer. A huge thank you to Olivia, our waitress, who was absolutely lovely from beginning to end. Smiling, attentive, professional, and incredibly kind, she greatly contributed to making our meal even more enjoyable.
The dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. A special mention goes to the beef, which was absolutely exceptional: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A real treat; we understand why it's so highly regarded!
The setting is magnificent, with a beautiful view of the cathedral square, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
Thank you for this impeccable service. We will gladly return on our next trip to Bazas and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

07/09/2026: Really not very clean (dirty and broken trays, dishes, table, bin, floor, toilet). It's a real shame about the filth because the location is nice and the staff are friendly too.
And the overpowering smell of cat urine that spills out onto the small courtyard makes it unsuitable for eating, and when the patio doors are open, the smell wafts in.

The bouncers, as soon as they see you speaking Spanish, tell you that you can't enter the club for any reason, whether it's your clothes, your shoes, or that it's suddenly over 23 when all the French people get in at 18. Once you're inside, and you've paid the entrance fee, if you leave the bouncer won't let you back in, while the French come and go without any problem.
It's a disgrace.
15/08/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place; the people are bitter, if not downright nasty. A friend had her ID stolen, so she couldn't get in, which is understandable, but she has kidney problems and absolutely has to drink water or she'll faint. She tried to explain everything, but they wouldn't listen: she collapsed.

21/09/2026: Ouch, it seems the owner has changed and that amateurs unfamiliar with the etiquette of such an industry have been put in charge of service. A waitress who walked right past us three times without even acknowledging us (while we were sitting on the terrace) served people who arrived after us and smoked a cigarette while chatting with her friends at the table right next to us... perhaps my friend's skin was too dark or she simply didn't like the look of me? We wondered... finally, a pleasant young man took care of us, except that my friend's Kir Royal arrived with barely any blackcurrant liqueur at the bottom, no bubbles (he explained that it was the last of the bottle, that they were out of champagne but that it should be fine... that he would come back later with champagne... strange). As for my rosé, it was flat. The young man never came back with the champagne. When we went to the bar, the young woman suddenly noticed us and tried to ring us up. I asked to speak to the young man, but she didn't understand, so I insisted that he ring us up. He came over and asked if everything was alright... when I explained that the kir wasn't royal and the rosé was flat, and I'd barely touched the glass, he told us that no, everything hadn't gone well. We simply wanted to enjoy a drink, and both were undrinkable—unbelievable in an establishment that specializes in that. Being a good sport, he decided not to charge us for the rosé: I hadn't drunk it, thank goodness. Without any shame, he rang up my friend's so-called kir. It would have been more professional to offer something else when they ran out of champagne and, above all, to come back and check on us. It was impossible to get hold of a waiter...
18/08/2026: They're ripping off customers and not listing the coffees on the menu because the staff wants tips. I've given all the information to the URSSAF (French social security agency); I'm sure they'll laugh to see such rude and unclean waiters who dare to tip themselves without your permission or even telling you, and who change drink prices as they please. Have a good day, and steer clear.

29/07/2024: Alors à fuir pour l'amabilité du patron ou du responsable, a part faire des remarques desobligenates devant les autres client, meme pas capables de s'occuper des clients qui attentent.
Pour passer et repasser, meme pas un bonjour ou un je vous demande d'attendre, on vous regarde comme de la viande avariée
Peut etre trop de client pour ce restaurateur,
Conseil, plus loin il y a d'autres restaurant ou l'acceuil est chalereux
Je parle meme pas de la nourriture, mais juste de l'acceuil
