Prices not excessive. Bonus drink from the boss even though there were only two of us. Delighted, this is exactly what we were looking for.

21/03/2024: I was told the barracks were the place to be in Val d'Isère, what a nasty surprise, deplorable service, decent food, but all in a din that makes you just want to finish your meal and run away. No respect for the customer, the important thing seems to be to make money…nothing more.

03/01/2024: Aperitif not finished, the service brings you the dishes ordered without plates or cutlery, and for fondues with the stove turned off. By the time they realized the problem, as the fondue stove was not lit, the fondue was cold and not melted at all! The setting is beautiful, the aesthetics are beautiful, but that's all: the beautiful seats without being able to lean back are not comfortable. The cuisine has no taste, only, incidentally, the bill remains salty. To avoid.

07/03/2024: After a walk and a few sled runs we had a craving for a hot chocolate and a pancake.
Hot chocolate... Couldn't be simpler, I'm even almost certain that it's Nesquik and that it's heated in the microwave...
And no pancakes but waffles hummm... Uh no yuck!! They are all identical, hard and overcooked so I am sure it is frozen... And served with a ton of chocolate...(See photo) And all that, 4 waffles, 2 chocolates and a fuztea, 35 €BAM. Nothing appreciable, even the waiter doesn't appreciate being there... In short, a tourist trap just as we like them, a shame to be so well placed, with such a panorama to do such bad things, which is It is certain that we will NEVER go to eat there too bad... Very disappointed!!!
