27/02/2026: Patapain is great except for one drawback: the students. They make noise and, above all, they're incredibly vulgar. They need to understand that this is a public place, so they need to respect the good customers. Personally, I'm shocked because most of them come and don't buy anything, or they go to Lidl to get their food and then come to Patapain to eat it. I've seen it all!

09/04/2026: Good quality cuisine made with fresh produce. Very warm welcome. The inn is close to a motorway exit, making it a pleasant place to stop in a small village where children can stretch their legs safely.

08/04/2026: Patapain was nice until I discovered that your supply chain still supports cruel practices. Knowing that, in standard farms, piglets have their tails docked and their teeth ground down, while sows spend half their lives in cages, has deeply tarnished my customer experience. I won't be coming back 😞
01/04/2026: I come every Wednesday morning for breakfast with a friend and it's a great time for both of us!

Thirty people, all satisfied with the welcome, the service, and the food. I sincerely recommend this establishment!
14/02/2026: A very simple restaurant, but we had a good and quick lunch so we could get back on the road. The manager is lovely and organized. Highly recommended.

The service is fairly decent, and there are tables inside for eating.
The food is average considering the quality. The prices are sometimes a little high for the portion sizes.
However, there are some drawbacks regarding hygiene; everything needs to be addressed, especially the restrooms. There's never any toilet paper, which is really inconvenient for a woman.

15/03/2026: Upon arrival, we were given the menu and seated on the first floor. We saw the waiter once to take our order and a second time to bring it to us.
Then we had to go downstairs to get another drink. We also wanted to order tapas, but since no one else was coming, we went downstairs and paid.
However, unlike the previous two evenings, it was quieter; there were fewer people this Saturday night. The experience would certainly have been different if we had been seated downstairs. The tapas and drinks were very good.

25/02/2026: Hello, I had the pleasure of participating in a discovery afternoon at Patapain, located at 2 Route de Villebret in Montluçon. In two hours, we made bread, brioches, apple turnovers, raspberry tarts, and much more. It was a very enriching experience. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly, smiling, and efficient. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. You can eat at any time, and it's open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Well done! Plus, there's a private parking lot, blue short-term parking spaces, and a large parking lot across the street. Everything you could want, in short. Don't hesitate to stop by; you'll be pleasantly surprised by the variety of what's on offer. For more details, visit their website.
