10/08/2026: A very warm welcome awaited us on a shaded terrace.
The food was beautifully prepared, with real flair. I highly recommend the tuna with mixed vegetables and herbs, accompanied by an excellent vinaigrette, not to mention the gratinéed pineapple flan.

07/08/2026: We arrived a bit last minute, but received a super welcome and a table outside was set up for the three of us. Warm and very pleasant. The food is very good and everything is homemade for a very reasonable price. I'm definitely adding it to my favorites! Thank you so much!

25/08/2026: I used to enjoy choosing my lunch at Patapain, but since my last visit, I've learned that in the standard farms where you source your meat, piglets have their tails docked and their teeth ground down, while sows spend half their lives in cages. Knowing this completely ruins my experience with you, as these intelligent and sensitive animals suffer so much.

17/08/2026: We had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant located next to the Berry Canal. It was pouring rain, so we couldn't use the terrace. There's a large parking lot right in front. The hamburger was good, but I wasn't expecting a runny mustard sauce; I should have gone for ketchup.

15/08/2026: The sandwiches are good, but they refused to make me another sandwich WITHOUT CHEESE. Very disappointed…
01/08/2026: We came to sit on the covered terrace, but the vacuum cleaner had already been used, and we could only sit at two tables because, and I quote, "there are only two of us tonight, so I'll move forward," even though it was 6 pm and the shop didn't close until 8 pm.
Furthermore, the parasols outside were already closed, so we were left in the full sun if we wanted to sit outside.
And complaining because other customers had sat there is a bit much, in my opinion.
I'd really like to know if the manager approves of this.

16/04/2026: I highly recommend this place. The food was high quality and very well prepared; we thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The service was excellent and genuinely kind, especially considering we were a party of seven adults and three young children. We will definitely be back.

05/09/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I bought a Caesar salad, and when I went to eat it, the salad was absolutely rotten, there's no other way to describe it. I took it home, and the two staff members were insulting, telling me it was normal because the dressing had cooked the salad, except the dressing is in a separate container. I asked the staff member to eat it if it looked fresh, and he said he could but refused. Unbelievable!
When I told them I would never set foot in their establishment again, the cashier replied, "With pleasure." 😡
They didn't offer me a refund, a credit note, or even a replacement. I take my hat off to Patapain and its staff! Rude staff who sell unsanitary products and are thieves because they don't offer any alternatives.
