15/03/2026: I find there is a real lack of generosity in the filling; a waiter stopped taking care of us to go and make his own sandwich first… The lack of training is blatant; someone should supervise them to speed up!

24/11/2025: I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The service was particularly poor: when I asked how I wanted my steak cooked, the waiter claimed it was no longer possible to choose, citing some supposed new law. Honestly, it felt like they were just trying to make fun of us. The wait was interminable: almost an hour before we got anything to eat, and during all that time, no one really paid any attention to us. The organization seemed completely nonexistent, and no one on the team was any better than the others. As for the meal, after all that waiting, it wasn't anything special either. In short, a very disappointing experience that I definitely do not recommend.

22/09/2025: We entered the patio a bit by chance for a cocktail... and frankly, we don't regret it. Pierrick gave us a warm welcome, directing us to the very unusual room (a former farmhouse) where there are high tables, low tables, chairs, stools, and large benches. The first evening, we kept it simple with mojitos, which turned out to be excellent. For the next three evenings, we left it to Max, the cocktail master, to surprise us with a new drink each time. They were all to our taste, even though we hardly ever drink alcohol. The Mai Tai/Espresso Martini/Jamaican Mule and Raspberry Daiquiri were lovely discoveries, but he wowed us with a cocktail that tasted like a madeleine... (yes, grandma's madeleine). We will happily return if our travels bring us back to Vallon 😁

22/03/2026: Interior: Small restaurant. Friendly atmosphere with soft background music. I really appreciated the dim lighting. The menu is varied, with something for everyone. Everything was really very good. I was a little disappointed by the welcome; we had to go to the counter to announce our arrival, and it was a bit unclear which table we were seated at. The wait between arrival and ordering was long, and the same was true between ordering and the arrival of our starters. After that, it was a normal pace for most restaurants (based on my previous experiences). Exterior: Decent and welcoming, greeted by the cow from the Etable 07 😁 Very limited parking in front of the restaurant. It's possible to park a little further up the road, about 60 meters away (provided that every driver is courteous and parks respectfully). I would still go back.

21/03/2026: We came to L’Étables for dinner and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My husband ordered duck breast, which arrived far too overcooked and dry. I had fish soup followed by prawns in whisky sauce: the whole thing was completely bland, with no flavor whatsoever. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the waiter, who had the dishes remade. We appreciated the gesture, but unfortunately, it didn't change anything: the duck breast was still tasteless, and the prawns seemed to be poorly thawed frozen products, with a sauce reused from the first plates, resulting in an unpleasant taste. It's all the more disappointing because the establishment clearly aims to offer sophisticated dishes, but the result falls short. Perhaps it would be better to focus on simpler, more refined cuisine. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

17/02/2026: This hotel is very charming and the staff is very welcoming. The rooms are a bit dated but perfectly adequate. The restaurant is excellent. Breakfast could be improved. The location is quite quiet despite the main road passing by. I recommend it.
