26/03/2024: 4 of us ate for dinner. Despite the crowds present, the service is pleasant and efficient. The dishes, without being original, are very good. I recommend the crepes menu which allows you to have them on the entire menu which is rare and therefore worth highlighting. We had a great time. I recommend !!

23/08/2023: Tourist trap! For a snack, we had waffles to take away. 1 with sugar and 1 with caramel with extra whipped cream for 1.50 euros more. The waffles were thin, poorly cooked. The extremely thin and sparse extra whipped cream was spread over the waffle like spread. Before our arrival, there was no one at the takeaway stand unlike the 2 other adjoining shops, where the queues were long...we quickly understood why!

06/11/2023: Very good restaurant, a little in the city so you will not benefit directly from the seaside. But this is not a problem given the quality of the cuisine which is really good. A very good address in Courseulles-sur-Mer, to do if you are passing through the town.
06/11/2023: Perhaps the best cuisine in Courseulles-sur-Mer. Everything is fresh, homemade and you can feel it. Try the braised Sweetbreads (a treat) or the French toast-style brioche. Friendly welcome and flawless service.

Addition for two €126: starters + main courses + dessert + cocktails + a digestive.
The sole was excellent with preparation in front of my eyes.
Everything was well cooked and tasty.
A nice moment spent together.
02/04/2024: The meal was simply exquisite. Too bad the service was not up to par. We started with an aperitif. We asked for a second appetizer because we expected from someone who was late. The lack of coordination and dialogue between the servers meant that we received the imperative at the same time as our entries. We asked the waitress if we could wait a little while the person who was on call in a hospital environment arrived so that we could eat the dish at the same time as her. She answered us. Be careful, we close at 4 p.m. I don't find that very friendly and diplomatic on his part. Having been in the catering profession for 19 years, I know what I'm talking about, we hadn't even finished our main course yet this person was already taking the plates away from us while one person hadn't finished I think he missing a chef. It's a shame that the Service is not at the same level as the Cuisine

06/01/2024: LE PUB is a bar with exceptional staff in Cabourg! A truly ❤️🔥 discovery (Thomas the manager and Sao.. 😅) were present for cocktails to die for! Quality service even though there were only 2 of them managing the bar with a large crowd!
The bar menu is full; strong alcohols / beers / soft drinks / hot drinks / Belgian beers etc. and as a bonus the broadcast of matches on the big screen, themed evenings, Karaoke, concerts, with super interesting locals to chat with at the counter. I really recommend this charming place for a one-way trip! Being from Burgundy-Franche-Comté, this place allowed me to discover Normandy in record time through their map which takes you on a journey.
Between us... I would have liked to never go out there but unfortunately the establishment closes at some point :) sorry to have been a little heavy!
If you are hungry, LE RESTO which is an establishment in the same group (adjacent to the PUB) = ultra practical! Drink and as a bonus eat while having just 5 meters to walk... the restaurant offers you a menu with dishes to die for (fish / meat / pancakes and desserts, for adults and children, truly complete menu... all with quality products and cooking (use of Isigny cream and butter, flambéing with Calvados and so on...) the chef is an Edward Scissorhands of the kitchen! The waiters are of a incredible kindness.
I was lucky enough to be able to talk with the director and the cooks who are very interesting people who are passionate about their job, really to make a long story short
By far for me these are the best establishments on the street, in the city, and in the region! Authentic people, close to people, with a lot of values, that really changes from the many sterile places where everything is sanitized and smooth. Here you will be in the authentic, a real pub, a real restaurant, real staff, and as a bonus with more than affordable prices!

In addition to not having a lot of meat, it sometimes burns because it has been on the stove for so long. Mixed with barely cooked cold meat mixed…
When you come there you can only see this mountain of meat. Could do better… it’s a shame to see a drop in quality in this restaurant.

20/11/2023: Great little restaurant in the center of Luc-sur-Mer... we celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday there this Saturday... we had privatized the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service perfect. The kindness and professionalism of the bosses is to be highlighted!
Thank you very much for this beautiful day which will remain a great memory for us, everything was perfect.
