22/07/2026: I stopped by for a coffee and they were closing. Yet, they served me a very nice espresso! The waiter is a very nice perso, active and very friendly! Recommended 100%!

Restaurant la Pinte Comtoise
Pontarlier
17/10/2026: A lovely little restaurant!
We were delighted by the typical Franche-Comté dishes.
The service was pleasant, the food delicious.
Excellent value for money.
Reservations recommended.
04/10/2026: Highly recommended! We arrived at short notice in the evening and were lucky enough to get a table – reservations are recommended. The welcome was friendly and the food was excellent. The lamb shank was tender, the sauce reduced perfectly – everything was cooked to perfection. Very good value for money; we would definitely come back.

McDonald's
Pontarlier
09/10/2026: Receiving a complete order with all items included is as rare as seeing Girondins de Bordeaux win Ligue 1, especially since the burgers cost as much as a Real Madrid transfer fee, only to not receive said burger in the order.
09/10/2026: My first visit to McDonald’s in France, here in Pontarlier. Having come from the US, I find that a few things are different - where is the Quarter Pounder?, but free WiFi at McDonald’s must be universal. I like the Halloween decorations. The men’s room was very clean.
