January 2026: 2 stars because despite having been there several times, last night's takeaway order of a double meat taco (€9) was half the size of my usual size. Very disappointed to have paid so much for a half taco.

31/05/2026: A really nice place with a great atmosphere. I'll update my review of the food once I've tried several dishes/tapas, but my seared tuna was very good.
It makes you want to come back. The terrace is quiet and pleasant.
27/05/2026: Nestled among the linden trees, in a peaceful setting, the new summer menu delighted us, especially the seared tuna and the fish tartare, which were absolutely delicious... and I haven't even mentioned the profiteroles, which were as good as they were generous. A truly excellent place!

11/05/2026: The best pastry shop in Valencia. I was very impressed by the staff, who are very pleasant and competent. A ten out of ten. The bakery in the same establishment, just a few meters away, is also fabulous! I just arrived in this city and, frankly, the quality of the artisans is a delight!

01/05/2026: I'm a vegetarian and the staff are amazing! They made me a vegetarian sandwich that was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Taksim; the place is very clean, the food is excellent, and to top it all off, the staff are very friendly and professional. A thousand thanks to them!

The food was good, with something for everyone, and the portions were generous and well-presented. We were full, so we were able to take our dessert home to eat later, all with a smile.

Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades.
But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often.
I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.

17/04/2026: I would like to emphasize the excellent service I received during my visit. I was greeted by a particularly courteous, smiling, and attentive person who took the time to verify the accuracy of my order. The service was quick (less than 10 minutes), and the products perfectly matched our expectations. Special mention goes to the staff's flexibility: we were able to exchange the Happy Meal toy we already owned without any difficulty. The price of the toy alone (€0.72) was also very reasonable. A very positive experience.

It's annoying to order and there's always something missing.

06/09/2024: A place that is totally part of my routine every week. Everything is excellent. The homemade sweet treats are a success, original cakes, tasty and generously served! The same goes for the savory part, pies and bagels are always perfect.
Special mention for me for the fruit and vegetable juices made on the spot and in front of you, ideal for starting your day in the best possible way. Finally, the famous marble cake has not found an equivalent for me.
The icing on the cake: the team is great, always smiling, and the new decor enhances the atmosphere.

Pour nous ce genix n’était pas un st genix
La pogne sont goût ne correspondait pas au goût réel de ce que bédouin nous a fait connaître
Malheureusement nous avons été très déçu de ces achats
Le personnel a t’il changé
Ou est ce une volonté d’entreprise de trouver un moyen économique de changer sa fabrication
