Le Prince Noir
Lormont
18/08/2026: An absolutely exceptional experience
We had a sensational time. The Chef is remarkable, and his team is equally extraordinary. From the moment we arrived until the last course, everything was exceptionally well-executed, with a perfectly controlled pace that allowed us to fully savor every moment.
The cuisine is exquisitely refined, precise, generous, and flawlessly executed. Each dish demonstrates true expertise and remarkable mastery.
What particularly distinguishes Le Prince Noir is this harmony between the excellence of the cuisine, the quality of the service, and the generosity of the entire team. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, it is rare to encounter such a complete experience, without a single flaw.
A truly wonderful discovery that I highly recommend. Le Prince Noir undoubtedly deserves to be known and discovered.
17/08/2026: Excellent restaurant.
We were very lucky because the restaurant was full, but they made us a table for four: thank you!
The country burger, the tagliatelle, the broutcheta: perfect.
The desserts were also good.
Thank you for the warm welcome.

McDonald's, France
Lormont
11/09/2026: I don't know what's going on right now (September 2026), but the drive-thru service is really unprofessional. The wait for order placement and service is extremely long.
11/09/2026: Ordered last night on Uber Eats, and frankly… what a joke.
To start with, as usual: the sauces were missing. Honestly, you'd almost think it was an extra charge. If only it stopped there…
The nuggets? Harder than a rock. I didn't know whether to eat them or use them to prop up a piece of furniture.
Then, apparently, knowing the recipes isn't a priority anymore. I ordered a McChicken Gold, which is obviously more expensive, and I got a regular chicken. Fantastic. We pay extra for the surprise, I guess.
But the best part was the cheddar fries: instead of the promised cheddar sauce, they literally put two slices of cheese in the fries. Two slices. Just like that. As if nobody would notice. With just over an hour until closing time, they really need to stop treating their customers like idiots.
Between the oversights, the dried-out ingredients, the bad recipes, and the last-minute culinary improvisations, it really gives the impression that, over time, the desire to do things properly is steadily declining at this McDonald's.
I can understand a mistake on an order. But when the entire order resembles a collection of "it'll do like that," it becomes problematic.
In short, very disappointing. And given the price of a McDonald's order these days, the bare minimum would be to receive what you ordered, prepared correctly.
