09/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alpage. It's very well located. The welcome was excellent, with staff taking great care of us. We felt very comfortable there. The common areas are spacious. We loved the mulled wine by the fireplace.
We ate very well. The breakfast was very generous. The spa in the evening after a day of skiing was a real bonus. We will definitely be back.
14/03/2026: A very cozy hotel, right at the foot of the slopes (5-minute walk) in Vars Sainte Marie, with charming managers and top-notch staff. The food is also flawless. Go for it!

12/04/2026: Not bad, but the organization for waiting and ordering needs improvement.
03/04/2026: I had a seriously negative experience here regarding my gluten allergy. I spoke with the waiter three times before ordering and they assured me I could eat the steak and chips. I even went in to check with the chef in French!
The steak was cold and basically served blue. The chips were alright at best. My friends had the pasta that looked very plain and mundane.
Anyways, after leaving the restaurant I immediately felt unwell - horrific experience and afternoon on the mountains spent trying to make it to a bathroom.
Despite having allergies marked on the menu they obviously don’t care enough to check/ ensure your safety.
