03/03/2026: The shop is very well stocked. The interior layout is cramped, especially when it's busy with ski rentals, but they can't exactly expand the space :)

13/07/2026: I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the setting was idyllic, overlooking the mountains. The servers were very friendly and created a great atmosphere! James knows how to make you feel comfortable and is very efficient, with a great sense of humor! I highly recommend this place, which is far from being a tourist trap but truly a charming spot that will give you a unique experience. Love you, James!

04/07/2026: - Welcome + Service: Very friendly and fast, they also speak English.
- Location: In the center of town.
- Parking: Parking lot 200 meters away.
- Decor + Size: Very nice, wood with glass windows.
- Cleanliness: Good.
- Bathroom: Clean and large.
- Air conditioning: No.
- Food: We had two burgers with fries and a Coke. Very good, well-seasoned and filling. The fries were crispy with the skin. They also served a tomato and carrot salad on the side, well-seasoned. The only thing that wasn't great was the bacon, which wasn't real bacon but a slice of cold cuts of some kind.
- Portions: Generous.
- Bill: Average prices. We spent €40.
- Payment Options: Debit cards accepted.
- Unfortunately, there are a few flies wandering around the place.
25/06/2026: A cozy little restaurant with excellent food. There were four of us, and with every dish, we had the distinct feeling that everything was homemade and of outstanding quality. The service was also friendly and relaxed, and the question, "Did you enjoy your meal?" didn't just sound like a formality. Absolutely fantastic! 👍😊

20/04/2026: Stopped for a coffee and they looked after my stuff when I went to the local supermarket across the street. Solo motorcycle travel can be tricky but places like that helps a lot. The location and the staff are also great!
01/03/2026: We received a very warm welcome! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the meals were generous and delicious! We ordered two savory crepes ("Dré dans le pantu" & "sur une malentendu") which were very generously filled and then difficult to finish! We will definitely be back with our family! I highly recommend it!

09/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alpage. It's very well located. The welcome was excellent, with staff taking great care of us. We felt very comfortable there. The common areas are spacious. We loved the mulled wine by the fireplace.
We ate very well. The breakfast was very generous. The spa in the evening after a day of skiing was a real bonus. We will definitely be back.
14/03/2026: A very cozy hotel, right at the foot of the slopes (5-minute walk) in Vars Sainte Marie, with charming managers and top-notch staff. The food is also flawless. Go for it!

12/07/2026: Great bar with a fantastic atmosphere for the World Cup. The restaurant is only open for lunch and offers excellent quality food, including very good meat. Smiles and good cheer are always guaranteed. If you're passing through, don't hesitate to stop by.

03/04/2026: A real gem of an eatery - there's a lovely quiet road with a multitude of restaurants in Villeneuve - got a recommendation on a ski lift to try this place and do glad we did - hearty food, fun to cook the meat at the table for my son's and I. Open fire where the restaurant cook the guests steaks. Prices compare favourably to Chantemerle where we were staying.

06/05/2026: Here, we're at the end of the world, it's as if time has stood still! A little piece of Lapland in the high Alps. The snow avalanches impressed me!
12/04/2026: The best mountain refuge/hostel we've ever stayed in, without a doubt! Pierre is incredibly kind, cooks delicious meals, and was a huge help in getting us through to the emergency services (15) after a skiing accident! We ate like kings and slept in clean sheets (unlike at the Glacier Blanc refuge...!).
The food here is local, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
In short, we'll be back! Thank you for everything!

The team is very warm and welcoming.
The food is homemade, sophisticated, excellent, and flavorful—in short, an explosion of tastes in your mouth! We were won over! Highly recommended!

05/07/2026: Fellow hikers, if you're hungry, steer clear, because the portions here won't fill you up. The Saint Marcelin salad costs twenty euros and consists of a tiny mound of lettuce and low-quality cured ham. The daily special was good, but again, the portion was small. The ice cream was good but expensive (3.90 a scoop is pricey). The crème brûlée in the set menu is as thin as a crepe. Another major issue is the bread! Serving bread of this quality when there are two bakeries nearby... In short, we were very disappointed, especially since it was recommended by the Routard guide! We left feeling a bit ripped off. The only very good thing was the service; the two waitresses were lovely, thank you for saving the experience!

26/05/2026: We were comfortably seated and enjoyed a delicious speculoos crepe, which was generously portioned (though a bit of a shame it was served in a cardboard box). The service was friendly, fairly quick, and efficient. Prices were reasonable.
07/03/2026: Terrible service and very unpleasant staff.
We went to the self-service counter and asked what was in the burgers. The cook told us it was listed on the menu. Okay... great salesman's response.
Then, for a children's meal, a crepe is included, but my husband was met with a very unpleasant response when he asked for it.
Finally, when we asked to see the manager, she had the nerve to tell us that we were the ones with the problem and that no one else was complaining about the service... seeing the reviews... I'm not so sure. I absolutely do not recommend this place, and it will be my first and last time there.
