25/09/2026: A fantastic spot right next door! The food is excellent, with homemade cuisine, quality ingredients, and a really friendly staff. Always a warm welcome, with a smile and a convivial atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

18/10/2026: Good regional cuisine with fresh fish. Delicious gratinated oysters. Prices are quite high, but fish dishes are always expensive, especially when they're cooked.
16/10/2026: I can't share the culinary experience, because we sat down at the end of the day for a drink, asked about the price of a beverage not listed on the menu, and the owner never came back to us... So we left without ordering anything, which is a shame because the setting is lovely, but he must be tired of putting money in the till at the end of the season... Not very customer-friendly at all!

18/08/2026: A truly deplorable experience at Barajo Lumière Café. After waiting for 30 minutes, I finally decided to ask how to place my order. I simply said "hello" to an employee, who didn't even bother to reply and coldly told me, frowning, "I'm not the one who takes orders," without indicating who did or even who I should ask.
Such a cold and dismissive welcome, after already waiting half an hour, is truly unacceptable. No smile, no explanation, no guidance, no effort to help the customer.
One can understand that there might be a wait or that an employee isn't responsible for taking orders. However, the very least they could do is respond politely and tell the customer how to proceed.
A very bad impression, absolutely unprofessional service, and a catastrophic customer experience. I definitely do not recommend this establishment and I will not be returning.
18/08/2026: What a find! Right across from the halls, despite the crowds and people, they are helpful and attentive. The seafood platter or the gratinéed shellfish platter is a real treat! Thank you for your warm welcome and smiles... I will definitely be back.

28/09/2026: I've been coming to this café for a few years now, and I was disappointed yesterday and today. The waiter wasn't very pleasant, had no sense of humor, and took the money instead of his colleague because the younger one didn't have time. He made it very clear that we were bothering him.

04/10/2026: What a shame, they used to make perfectly decent paninis, but this is a disaster. They've used a smaller roll, and they really should clean the griddle if they're going to heat chicken on it. I had black lumps in my mouth and I could only eat the nuggets from my order. It's a shame, it was convenient to be able to order here, but paying for something that's going to make me sick? No thanks.
01/10/2026: Passing through Sète, the little American takeaway was fantastic, and the service was excellent too, keep it up!!

This is an unusual, warm bistro.
The owner herself is here and does her thing. Great ;)
Great concert, bar, bistro, corner shop all in one.
Here you can get little things to eat but also homemade jam or homemade little things.
We only had a glass of wine and a mulled wine and it was delicious.
Services super nice, helpful.
Toilets very clean.
I'll definitely come back again. ;)

21/08/2026: A very pretty shop that I visit every time I'm in Sète. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit.
The staff has never been particularly welcoming, but today's experience was especially disappointing. I simply and politely asked, before buying anything, if it would be possible to get another pair of salad servers, as I noticed a few small stains on them. I immediately sensed that my request was irritating and heard her say, "It's nothing at all." Faced with this attitude, I decided to leave the servers.
A few meters after leaving the shop, the woman came back to me to explain that her comment wasn't directed at me. I then told her that I didn't wish to continue the discussion. She nevertheless concluded by saying, "You're being unpleasant."
I find this way of communicating particularly regrettable, especially for such a simple request. My future purchases will be made in other shops, where a smile and friendliness are more readily available.
