22/08/2026: Bought kebabs, sick all afternoon. This kebab shop is truly awful, but the hygiene is deplorable. Avoid this place!

07/08/2026: Warning!!!! ⚠️ Misleading advertising regarding the "Crousty." They serve you bagged rice bought from the corner store, tenders that taste like cordon bleu swimming in sour cream. The worst part is that it's MISSING the MAIN sauce of a true Crousty, namely the sweet and sour sauce. Still, it's a good kebab.

06/09/2026: Blonde beer is 5 quid which is good value for round here I’d say. Wouldn’t bother with the Guinness. Very helpful staff who were willing to try and get Katie Taylor fight on the TV despite the difficulty. Very generous to try and accommodate. Good TVs. Darts as well. You can try play the bar man for money and he’s no great shake. Nothing else to be doing in Cherbourg anyway.

10/06/2026: May have been an Irish bar in the past, alas nothing Irish about the place now. Guinness does not an Irish bar make...!!!

26/08/2026: The McDonald's was filthy, the trash wasn't emptied. We ate there, but to get our ice cream, no one came to see us; we had to jump on someone.

23/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wanted to leave a quick review to share my experience at the McDonald's in Cherbourg, as I was very happy with my visit. 😊🍔🍟 I went to pick up a takeout order and everything went very smoothly from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I found the staff pleasant, welcoming, and professional. They were smiling, respectful, and attentive, which made the experience much more enjoyable. My order was prepared quickly and, above all, with great care. Everything was well-packaged and carefully prepared for takeout. I checked my order and everything was there; nothing was missing. This is really appreciated, especially when ordering several items to go. As for the meal itself, I was also very satisfied. The food was good, hot, and well-prepared. You can tell the team pays attention to order preparation and customer satisfaction. Even for a simple takeout order, the service was efficient and organized. 👍 I particularly appreciated the speed of the service, as I didn't have to wait long to pick up my order. Everything went smoothly and without a hitch. That's exactly what you expect when you get a takeout meal: an efficient team, a complete order, and a properly prepared meal. I would therefore like to thank the entire team at the Cherbourg McDonald's for their warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. It's always a pleasure to leave a restaurant satisfied and to have a good experience with the staff. 😊 I would therefore gladly recommend this McDonald's to anyone who wants to eat in or take out. 22/08/2026: On the menu of sweet crepes, they forgot to mention that the toasted almond and dark chocolate crepe was heavily soaked in alcohol and therefore disgusting! If I ever return to Cherbourg, I won't go back to their place, despite the waiter's friendliness.

19/08/2026: Ordered two espressos, what a surprise! It was filter coffee that had been reheated and reheated again… We didn't want to try anything else given the price of the so-called "espresso" at €3.30 each 😱😱😱 more expensive than in Paris! The table was dirty and there was an unpleasant smell inside. We didn't finish our coffee and left quickly. Avoid this place! What a shame… I definitely do not recommend this café.
