11/05/2026: Big disappointment: a bad experience this year with the Iodine Cure salad. The mini ceviche was tasteless and bland, the two oysters served were clearly not fresh, and the salad (mainly mixed greens with smoked salmon) was dressed with some kind of mayonnaise. Frankly, not great, and on top of that, a bit stingy with the portion. In short, we won't be back.

06/05/2026: Having tried it on the recommendation of the Tourist Office, we were definitely not disappointed. The dish of the day was delicious and beautifully presented. Special mention for the gourmet coffee – a real treat!

Impeccable service, sophisticated and creative cuisine; the chef masterfully and skillfully reinterprets some classic French dishes, combining land and sea, all presented by a team that will make you feel at ease and take excellent care of you.

28/06/2026: Everything was perfect! The ravioli was delicious. The tuna was cooked to perfection, just seared. The sweetbreads were excellent. The service was equally impressive; the staff were very friendly and efficient. Try La Satrouille, you won't regret it.

21/07/2026: Passing through to visit the city, we decided to stop for a drink and to feed our 8-month-old daughter. Despite the fact that they didn't have a microwave to heat our daughter's meal, the staff were incredibly kind and found an alternative solution. As for the bar, it's quite unique. You can also buy local beers and borrow games while you enjoy your drink.

21/07/2026: Fantastic restaurant! Very generous portions! The view of the harbor is magnificent, and the atmosphere is superb. The staff is very friendly. And what's more, the prices are reasonable! Go for it!

The service was attentive, friendly, and professional. It's the kind of place you want to return to and that you would recommend without hesitation. 17/05/2026: Very nice hotel. We had a large clean room, one of 2 on ground floor near parking, excellent for a person w mobility issue. Large parking. Quiet. Pleasant staff, very good restaurant (one menu for the day). Good breakfast. Recommended.

23/04/2026: The Lion d’Or is a particularly well-maintained hotel where you immediately feel at ease. The rooms and common areas are bright and well-kept. A very comfortable stay is guaranteed. The welcome is warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Just a 10-minute walk away, you'll find a lovely park with a discovery trail showcasing the region's trees: a wonderful opportunity for a stroll while learning something new!

15/07/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Saint-Lô. My order was incomplete. When I went back to the counter to simply point out that some items were missing, I was met by a particularly unpleasant employee whose attitude almost made me feel like I was trying to steal or lie. Being treated with such suspicion when all you're asking for is completely unacceptable. The most shocking thing was the intervention of a manager, probably the director, who adopted the same contemptuous and arrogant attitude instead of calming the situation and looking for a solution. No sense of customer service, no self-reflection. Making mistakes with an order can happen. However, treating customers with such a lack of respect is unacceptable. If customer service and sales are a burden for them, perhaps it's time to rethink their approach.

14/07/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Saint-Lô. I paid over €70, but when I got home, I realized it wasn't my order at all. I called immediately to report the mistake, but despite the amount and the fact that the error was theirs, they offered no compensation whatsoever. The manager was very haughty.

31/05/2026: Local beer from a microbrewery. Original and unique. Very friendly owner. A bar frequented by locals.
