12/03/2026: We visited Café Marion for Valentine's Day and it's a superb place. The dishes are incredible, with generous portions and very affordable prices.
The little Valentine's Day decorations were cute, and we were even offered a complimentary soup as a starter.
Thank you to Julien and Lucas for their warm welcome and excellent service.

09/12/2025: A simple brasserie for a light meal. We simply ordered the cheese and charcuterie board. The welcome and service were satisfactory. A minor drawback was the stained chairs by the window and the walls, which could use a cleaning.

05/03/2026: Excellent meal for a midweek dinner with friends. The brasserie has plenty of tables, an upstairs area, and is well laid out for a relaxed atmosphere.
The restaurant is well located in Versailles and is beautiful.

21/03/2026: No more ordering tables available, even though they're required to complete the purchase! One out of every two kiosks wasn't working, resulting in a significant wait. The service was a disaster: 25 minutes to get a Happy Meal, which was also cold because it probably sat on the pass for too long! This is nowhere near McDonald's standards and procedures!
15/03/2026: This is literally the last time we'll ever set foot in there. The welcome was appalling; no hairnets or gloves, a manager who was clearly unhinged and couldn't manage much of anything, no compensation offered for the malfunctioning machines, and an unbelievable wait despite the few customers. Never again! My advice: go to Rive Gauche.

16/03/2026: If this bakery weren't next to the train station, I wouldn't have gone there in a long time.
The employees are always in a rush to work faster, which makes customers feel like they're bothering them.
If employers want incredibly efficient robots, we lose some of the human touch.
16/03/2026: We love having breakfast at Monsieur's orangery on Wednesday mornings with my daughter, or just for a sweet treat.
I must mention the attentive service; our hot chocolate was served with a complimentary piece of brioche, and they thoughtfully offered us a glass of water. We really enjoyed their traditional baguette, and their financiers are absolutely delicious <3.

17/12/2024: I am a regular customer, and every time I visit this cafe, an employee takes the liberty of shouting at me for no good reason. This behavior is unacceptable and very unpleasant. Every time I ask to see the manager to report the situation, she refuses and tells me I'm the one in charge, I'm not the only one who complains, it's a girl. I have already reported this issue several times, but no action has been taken so far.
I am seriously considering filing a police report as such behavior towards customers should not be tolerated.
14/12/2024: Unacceptable treatment for its customers.
A long-time customer, I went on Friday at 4:40 p.m. to get my usual coffee. Unfortunately, the credit card machine was out of service, and not having any cash on me, I was unable to pay for my coffee. So far, an understandable inconvenience.
However, when I politely asked to use the toilets before leaving, the person at the cashier refused me access, telling me that they were “for customers only”. A real humiliation given that I had come to consume in the first place!
When I tried to explain the grotesque situation to the barista, the manager intervened... to drive the point home with disconcerting condescension! What nerve is what proof of discernment on the part of this manager!
Result: not only did this contemptuous attitude shock me, but it was enough to convince me to never set foot here again, neither for a coffee, nor for my future lunches... Congratulations to the team for having managed to lose a customer faithful in record time

08/09/2024: Organisation et service déplorables. 2h15 sur place, seulement 1 plat chaud avec 2 boissons servis. Nous sommes partis sans desserts. L’établissement nous a quand même fait payer la note totale.
Fuyer, c’est cher et sans intérêt
24/08/2024: Visited twice during our stay in Versailles.
First visit was for a coffee and carrot cake (beautiful!)
Returned with family for breakfast.
Food fresh, tasty and filling. The Chai oatmeal bowl was bursting with flavour, crepes tasty with loads of chocolate and the eggs Benedict breakfast really good.
Only drawback was the amount of wasps in the area!
Service good and staff friendly and reasonable price for the area
