28/04/2026: Absolutely flawless! Ideally located in Versailles. Spacious tables. Classic decor in the Versailles style. Impeccable service from a welcoming, efficient, and friendly team. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the desserts. A perfect experience; I highly recommend it.
26/04/2026: One thing is for sure, we won't be back. We booked based on a recommendation from the Limousin restaurant in Versailles. The bread was stale, the champagne tasteless. The leg of lamb tasted like it was leftovers from the night before. In short, mediocre quality.

28/05/2026: Not disappointed with the burger but the service was deplorable, the waiter was overwhelmed despite the few customers, dessert was served before the main course… and so on! Having entered this establishment looking for a father figure, I found myself without any bearings.

09/12/2025: A simple brasserie for a light meal. We simply ordered the cheese and charcuterie board. The welcome and service were satisfactory. A minor drawback was the stained chairs by the window and the walls, which could use a cleaning.

06/06/2026: I was served a Fra Puccino without ice, with bits of curdled milk and brown and black bits, and they forgot to order coffee. HOW CAN A STARBUCKS BE NOT GET ICE WHEN IT SERVES A LARGE QUANTITY OF ICED DRINKS?

24/05/2026: The wait was incredibly long... 10 minutes to be served, 15 minutes to bring two ice creams, and another 15 minutes to bring two beers that had been ordered at the same time. We had to remind the waiters because they'd forgotten... It was 7:30 PM, and there were about thirty people on the terrace, most of whom had already been served! The service was appalling; the waiters were completely incompetent. Instead of clearing the table, it was easier to just move the dirty dishes to another table. For a bar in Versailles, I find that deplorable.
19/05/2026: Mediocre food at best, service horrible, admittedly we had a big table, but more then 4 times bringing the wrong dish. At some point people were asked dessert while neighbour had not received main yet.
Avoid.

26/05/2026: The setting is nice, but it's even better when the ice cream maker licks his fingers before making your ice cream.
20/05/2026: Three stars for the mocha coffee I took home and enjoyed, which was very good.
However, I was disappointed by the staff's lack of attention and the long wait for the "organic" coffee I also ordered to go (to drink outside)... which, to top it off, was just a simple espresso!
It would be helpful to indicate this on your menu to avoid surprises.
Because on the menu, it simply says "organic/decaffeinated coffee"... and the staff at the pastry counter didn't know what that meant when I asked for clarification... Thank you.

18/05/2026: I was passing through this area on my way back from the weekend, so we decided to stop for lunch. The staff wasn't very friendly, and
I have no words to describe the state of this restaurant in terms of hygiene; it's appalling.
The dining room was filthy, the tables weren't washed, and there was food, sauces, paper, and more on the floor.
When I went to the restroom, I was speechless.
Looking at the photos...
It definitely put me off my food. 🤢
This is completely unacceptable.

17/12/2024: I am a regular customer, and every time I visit this cafe, an employee takes the liberty of shouting at me for no good reason. This behavior is unacceptable and very unpleasant. Every time I ask to see the manager to report the situation, she refuses and tells me I'm the one in charge, I'm not the only one who complains, it's a girl. I have already reported this issue several times, but no action has been taken so far.
I am seriously considering filing a police report as such behavior towards customers should not be tolerated.
14/12/2024: Unacceptable treatment for its customers.
A long-time customer, I went on Friday at 4:40 p.m. to get my usual coffee. Unfortunately, the credit card machine was out of service, and not having any cash on me, I was unable to pay for my coffee. So far, an understandable inconvenience.
However, when I politely asked to use the toilets before leaving, the person at the cashier refused me access, telling me that they were “for customers only”. A real humiliation given that I had come to consume in the first place!
When I tried to explain the grotesque situation to the barista, the manager intervened... to drive the point home with disconcerting condescension! What nerve is what proof of discernment on the part of this manager!
Result: not only did this contemptuous attitude shock me, but it was enough to convince me to never set foot here again, neither for a coffee, nor for my future lunches... Congratulations to the team for having managed to lose a customer faithful in record time

08/09/2024: Organisation et service déplorables. 2h15 sur place, seulement 1 plat chaud avec 2 boissons servis. Nous sommes partis sans desserts. L’établissement nous a quand même fait payer la note totale.

24/08/2024: Visited twice during our stay in Versailles.
First visit was for a coffee and carrot cake (beautiful!)
Returned with family for breakfast.
Food fresh, tasty and filling. The Chai oatmeal bowl was bursting with flavour, crepes tasty with loads of chocolate and the eggs Benedict breakfast really good.
Only drawback was the amount of wasps in the area!
Service good and staff friendly and reasonable price for the area

15/05/2024: We ate at Bar XV because the server, Aneza, was so hospitable and welcoming to us. She even spoke English and was very happy to have us as customers which we appreciated her warmth.
Versailles…we ate at Planche Viande XV….the serveuse, Aneza, was very welcoming and spoke to us in English. Because she was so hospitable so we ate there.
Jon had their roquefort burger for 16 euros ….good with fries and salad. i had the menu…tuna salad to start and a fajita with bbq chicken and sauce and salad for 17 euros. The fajita had a bbq sauce iso the the authentic mexican fajita spices while the entree, tuna salad was just a mixed canned tuna with some white and green onions. Dad had a side order of fries for 6 euros which was very crunchy and hot.
Wine 25cl at 5 euros and blonde beer 50 cl at 4.50euros.
Food is okay but it was the ultra welcoming great service by Aneza that sold us on eating here. We sat outside with a great ambiance people watching.
