06/02/2026: The food was excellent. The service was efficient, but the noise in the adjoining room was unbearable for a birthday celebration. It's a shame, because the table setting was perfectly worthy of a good restaurant... the noisy atmosphere prevented us from having a proper conversation at our table.

21/12/2025: Beautiful heritage hotel in a beautiful town. Despite arriving late we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff who made sure we had the best possible experience. We could park our car for free in the car park next to the hotel . The rooms were comfortable and cosy, the staircase is magnificent with lots of delightful historical features. The restaurant on site is very pleasant where we had a very tasty breakfast. It's a great spot for families, our children loved the hotel and we had a unique experience learning about the history and practicing french. The owners gave us a lot of great tips for sightseeing in Alsace and we ended up having a great holiday. Thank you!

Simple and efficient! The food is hot!
Impeccable service and the chef's interaction with customers was appreciated.
The presence of several dogs at the tables and in the kitchen wasn't entirely in line with expected hygiene standards, but it should be noted that the entire restaurant is very clean.
11/10/2025: Eleven of us went for my birthday on October 4th. It's a very, very good restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. I think the prices are reasonable for good food.
I had a cordon bleu with cream sauce, served with mushrooms; it was excellent.

21/01/2026: A wonderful hotel restaurant in Châtenois with a warm, home‑like atmosphere. The impressive collection of teddy bears 🧸 gives the place a unique and charming character. Very friendly staff and a welcoming hostess - you feel genuinely well taken care of.
We started with foie gras and toasted bread, paired with a Porto aperitif over ice - excellent. For the main course, I had Poulet au Riesling with Spätzle, perfectly cooked and flavorful, paired with a lovely Pinot Gris. My companion ordered the escalope de veau, also very good. No place for dessert after all 🫣, but the espresso was outstanding - thick, aromatic, rich.
The place gets busy, so reservations are recommended - we were lucky to get a table on Sunday.
Cozy, authentic Alsatian cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended😍
