11/08/2026: Excellent food and top-notch staff with a great sense of humor. They understand that good food isn't enough. We had a good laugh.
09/08/2026: We had two lovely meals. The first time, we enjoyed the excellent dishes on the menu in the garden. Nicely presented and tasty. The second time, we tried the flamkuchen and they were fine too. Unfortunately, we couldn't sit outside due to the threatening thunderstorm.

12/08/2026: I've never seen so many flies on pastries, and nobody seems to mind. I understand the difficulty in this heat, but this is really excessive. I turned around immediately.

We were passing through by bike on our Vosges crossing. We wanted for nothing! (Good meals, good rest, good breakfast) Top-notch!

06/04/2026: I don't comment very often during my trips (I think this is actually the first time). However, I think the owners and Staff from Hotel-Restaurant La Bonne Franquette absolutely deserved it. I spent my 2026 Easter Weekend there. My room was clean and the bed very comfy, the food at the restaurant was excellent. But most importantly, the Staff was simply incredible. I hope that my trips will bring me back to the Alsace, if this happen, I will book there again on a heartbeat.

03/09/2026: Very tasty. The pike-perch fillet was great 👍🏻 and my friend had the moules avec des frites 👍🏻. The service was very friendly and attentive.
16/07/2026: We were refused a table for 6 people at 7 pm, even though there were plenty of unreserved tables available both inside and outside! Absolutely no customer service, no effort whatsoever, just the feeling that we were "bothering" them, to put it politely! It's true they had to move a table for 2 to the side to make a table for 6! Perhaps they were too tired to work in this heat! I've traveled all over Europe and this is the worst welcome I've ever received in a restaurant! Bravo for this excellent service!

26/09/2026: A disastrous experience from start to finish.
After placing our order by phone, we were told there would be a one-hour wait. When we arrived, the order still wasn't ready: I had to wait another 20 minutes.
And the worst part was the result when we opened the boxes: the pizzas were completely burnt! The edges were black with carbon and the bottoms were completely charred, making them inedible and bitter.
Paying to wait that long and getting such poor quality is unacceptable. It was the first and last time.

16/05/2026: We came to your region the weekend of May 8th. We had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant... We ate very well. We received a superb welcome. We were truly delighted with our experience... and the gentleman chatted with us very nicely, as we were going to an amusement park the next day... There were five of us, and we're from the north... and we highly recommend it.
16/05/2026: The welcome was very haughty and unfriendly, but the pizzas were very good, though very expensive! We spent over €140 on 8 pizzas and two bottles of Lambrusco...
