11/08/2026: Excellent food and top-notch staff with a great sense of humor. They understand that good food isn't enough. We had a good laugh.
09/08/2026: We had two lovely meals. The first time, we enjoyed the excellent dishes on the menu in the garden. Nicely presented and tasty. The second time, we tried the flamkuchen and they were fine too. Unfortunately, we couldn't sit outside due to the threatening thunderstorm.

12/08/2026: I've never seen so many flies on pastries, and nobody seems to mind. I understand the difficulty in this heat, but this is really excessive. I turned around immediately.
07/08/2026: The welcome was adequate, however, we didn't see the menus. The service was mediocre; we had to put the tablecloth on the table ourselves. The food wasn't homemade, and we hadn't even finished our meal before they cleared our plates. Frankly, I won't be back. I don't recommend it.

We were passing through by bike on our Vosges crossing. We wanted for nothing! (Good meals, good rest, good breakfast) Top-notch!

06/04/2026: I don't comment very often during my trips (I think this is actually the first time). However, I think the owners and Staff from Hotel-Restaurant La Bonne Franquette absolutely deserved it. I spent my 2026 Easter Weekend there. My room was clean and the bed very comfy, the food at the restaurant was excellent. But most importantly, the Staff was simply incredible. I hope that my trips will bring me back to the Alsace, if this happen, I will book there again on a heartbeat.

16/07/2026: We were refused a table for 6 people at 7 pm, even though there were plenty of unreserved tables available both inside and outside! Absolutely no customer service, no effort whatsoever, just the feeling that we were "bothering" them, to put it politely! It's true they had to move a table for 2 to the side to make a table for 6! Perhaps they were too tired to work in this heat! I've traveled all over Europe and this is the worst welcome I've ever received in a restaurant! Bravo for this excellent service!
03/07/2026: A lovely discovery on the road before arriving at La Chenaudière.
Everything was perfect.
If you're passing through Villé, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.
