18/03/2024: For the first time in my long experience as a gourmet who is very respectful of professionals, I regret having to publicly criticize what I found on my plate yesterday at Lou Marqués. First of all, I should have been warned that the pan-fried foie gras announced in the recipe for the revisited pot-au-feu on the menu would be missing. It's the least you can do everywhere, but not in this case. Then the appearance of the clear broth dotted with bites of mash should have been contradicted by the tenderness of the beef cooked long. It was not the case. When, wanting to believe in a temporary distraction, I asked for a second marrow bone, in this prestigious room I was served a section taken from the flared end, almost entirely calcified. A bone to gnaw in some way. To err is human but a restaurant associated with a 5-star hotel should not allow it to persist in such a direction. This "revisit" was really not worth the detour but fortunately the quality of the service was better and the bossa nova snack at Jules César was much tastier. Thanks to Mathilde and Rémi 😃

06/04/2024: Simple but comfortable hotel, quiet and very clean. Very good cuisine and Camargue specialties. The owner is very friendly, rigorous, takes the time to chat with the customer, A good address for those who want to visit the Saintes Marie de la mer while avoiding the crowds

31/03/2024: Very unfavorable opinion regarding our welcome and also regarding the dishes. However, we are regulars... My family and I are very disappointed with this restaurant and do not recommend it under any circumstances. Some things including having to pay for the packaging of food not consumed during our visit is costly. Except that this is mandatory by law and does not have to be paid for. Regarding the dishes, we were very disappointed. Really if you are looking for a restaurant where you can eat at least correctly and be welcomed in a correct manner and not by respectful people I advise you not to come here… A SCANDAL, AN ABOMINATION!!!

02/05/2024: Best pizza we've had in a long time. The base is super crispy and paper thin with generous amount of ingredients, fresh and tasty. The lasagna aux aubergine is so yummy and definitely a taste of mama's home cooking. Very friendly and generous. 😋

21/03/2024: We privatized the establishment for a group of 80 people for a seminar in Arles. In the form of an aperitif dinner, our evening was hosted by the group Gipsy Kingdom. We were welcomed very warmly by the teams, whose professionalism we emphasize. DDEC33

07/11/2023: Frankly, it was because it was the last day because the restaurant is sold out but the dishes are not up to the prices. And then check the bill we were charged 90 euros more. Given that they are going to open another restaurant, I'm taking the trouble to post this review anyway. The CB terminal had taken on water. But who are we kidding? IT is not simpler to say that you have stopped the subscription. And frankly it's good but not crazy. We ate much better in Arles and for less money. As we cannot respond to the restaurateur's comments, I am supplementing my opinion. We respected the service and the cuisine. We didn't say a bad word and we chose the dishes when you came and as you asked us. You have to know how to accept criticism. We are not comparing you to Mc Do, Burger King and other fast food but to other truly good restaurants in Arles. you can go see my other reviews and especially the number of reviews I put. We are travelers and we respect the work done by the tourism world.

03/04/2024: Very nice experience, very friendly and friendly staff. The dishes are exceptional and out of the ordinary. the price is very reasonable considering the quality and freshness of the products.

01/04/2024: We were very well received by the entire restaurant team. The decoration has been revisited, the new decoration is very pretty and cozy. The dishes are good and plentiful, beautiful presentation of the plates. Regulars of this place, the cuisine is always top notch. Thank you very much to Nicolas and the whole team! It’s a must-see restaurant in Arles.
