15/12/2024: Very good restaurant in the center of Istres, top-notch service and cuisine

14/12/2024: A very nice discovery, Istres is poor in terms of quantity of high quality restaurants and refinement, but fortunately there is Le Pilon, it is an unmissable place, a family story to which I wish the longest life. The quality is really there, a refined cuisine, in a spirit of more traditional cuisine, it is very copious, lots of flavors, a very beautiful presentation: congratulations to the chef and his team, I highly recommend! The setting is very nice, the music is very good, Nora Jones is a very good choice, the volume is perfect, we can enjoy while chatting without raising our voices! The chef's background is very impressive, he learned from some of the biggest names in French cuisine, well done! The parents, involved in Pilon with their son, can be proud of their son. Back today, it's still just as pleasant, the quality is still there, this afternoon for my wife's birthday, we wanted to have lunch at Pilon, to enjoy a moment of calm and pleasure again . The musical atmosphere is always so soft and pleasant, thank you, we can chat very easily and listen to beautiful music 🎶 I invite you to taste the Spelled Risotto with Scallops, it is really very good, for me, it was a lamb shank which is always so well mastered. Looking forward to a next visit...

07/12/2025: Still as delicious as ever! A real pleasure to enjoy their pasta carbonara. Instant delight from the first bite. To finish, a delicious Nutella tiramisu with a little ice cream on top. The presentation of each dish is truly lovely! The gentleman is in the kitchen, the lady is serving. It was very busy on this Sunday, yet the service was very professional! Thank you, I will be back.

30/11/2025: This afternoon, we had lunch at Puccini, a first for me. The storefront is unremarkable, but when the door opens, what a pleasant surprise to find a large vaulted room, decorated in Italian and Baroque styles. As for the food, it was a delight: the tuna and Black Angus carpaccio followed by a very creamy risotto. An excellent restaurant in Istres. Keep up the good work, it's a real treat.

21/10/2025: Great welcoming bar with always various themes for evenings and DJ or rock band evenings with games for drinking and relaxing, great atmosphere.

17/10/2025: A games (and cocktail) bar that's well worth the detour. A great atmosphere, excellent cocktails that change regularly, with or without alcohol, and at very reasonable prices, and a games room with character, with, of course, plenty of games, both classic and new. And to top it all off, Sylvie, the owner, is adorable.

28/11/2025: A very pleasant meal in this small, authentic restaurant. The food is excellent and inexpensive, and the staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend it!

11/11/2025: My absolute favorite restaurant, simply not once disappointed since we first discovered it in the 2000s. A true gem with unbeatable value for money.

10/01/2026: The rating is the same, but we were freezing too much, so it wasn't great and we felt less present.

23/12/2025: A very pleasant surprise. Everything was delicious. Quick service, good service, beautifully presented dishes. Honestly, top-notch.
