19/08/2026: What a fantastic discovery! Le Grand Bleu is definitely one of the best restaurants we've visited in Calais. From the very first minute, everything was perfect: a beautiful ambiance, a warm welcome, incredibly friendly and attentive service, and of course, cuisine that truly delights. The dishes are not only beautifully presented, but their flavors are on a completely different level. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfectly balanced aromas, and creative cuisine that still manages to be pleasantly down-to-earth. Every course was a real experience – you can immediately tell that the food is cooked with passion and skill. We were particularly impressed that, despite the sophisticated cuisine, the atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed and not at all stuffy. This combination is precisely what makes the visit so special. For us, it's a clear 5-star recommendation and a must-visit in Calais! ❤️ Anyone who enjoys truly excellent food should absolutely not miss this restaurant. We would come back anytime – and Le Grand Bleu will definitely be on our list again on our next visit to Calais! ... Thank you so much for this wonderful evening and the fantastic food! 🇫🇷❤️

18/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. For those with a hearty appetite, the portions were generous! We were delighted with the gourmet coffee, which was delicious and exceeded our expectations for a chain restaurant... Thank you to Pauline for her service and kindness.

On this beautiful sunny day in early March, we were able to enjoy our meal while gazing at the blue-green reflections of the sea.

04/09/2026: A little disappointed... We ate well, but there were several drawbacks: this is our second visit, and several dishes listed on the menu were no longer available when we ordered! The chicken "supreme" arrived with a bone... 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's a shame because the food itself is good, but it didn't necessarily match our preferences... The service was quick and friendly.

01/07/2026: This was a great find for us, as we no longer go downtown due to parking difficulties. The setting is fantastic. The tables are spaced far apart, allowing for conversation without feeling crowded at the next table. 😉 The service is impeccable. The food is high-quality, delicious, and beautifully presented. We had a lovely time. I highly recommend it.

26/06/2026: Perfect meal, nothing to complain about!!

17/08/2026: Disappointing from start to finish. The welcome was appalling, the staff nonchalant, and the manager's attitude extremely aggressive, accompanied by completely inappropriate remarks. The food was just as disappointing: frankly disgusting, undercooked, and tasteless. I deliberately ordered mussels marinière, thinking I was getting a classic that was hard to mess up. Another huge disappointment: very little broth, mussels full of sand, and a bland sauce. The Maroilles cheese sauces, charged extra, were so diluted that the Maroilles flavor was practically nonexistent. Considering the prices, you're not paying for the ambiance, the welcome, the quality of service, or, even less so, the food. Avoid this place...

16/08/2026: The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very welcoming, even though we hadn't booked on Friday night. The service was quick and friendly, and they were very attentive to our needs. ☺️ The Welsh burger was excellent! 👌🤩 The mussels in garlic cream sauce were also very good. We will definitely be back without hesitation! ☺️
