20/05/2026: I ordered, as I have for several years, a chocolate and coffee religieuse for 10 people.
To my surprise, upon cutting into this magnificent and imposing religieuse, I discovered it lacked the soft cream and fresh raspberries… Complete disappointment for the guests and the birthday girl, who had been eagerly awaiting her favorite cake.
I immediately called and was told that the recipe had changed. Out of curiosity, I checked the DUPONT AVEC UN THÉ website and, surprisingly, the religieuse is still featured with the cream and raspberries. False advertising? The photo is not representative of the actual product, but the description should accurately reflect the finished product. I am very disappointed in this highly regarded establishment.
17/05/2026: It's lovely to have breakfast in this tea room! The croissant could be crispier, but the eggs and the traditional bread were perfect! The freshly squeezed orange juice is always a nice touch.
I would say that, depending on the day, the service can be more or less slow, even when it's not necessarily busier, which is a shame.

28/08/2024: Ho chiesto dopo pochi minuti dall’ordine di poterlo sostituire ma mi è stato detto dalla cameriera che era troppo tardi! Il piatto me l’hanno portato dopo 25 minuti dalla mia richiesta di cambio, c’era tutto il tempo per fare il cambio quindi non ha voluto farlo. Non ordinate calamari fritti! Anche gli altri piatti presi dagli altri componenti della famiglia non raggiungevano i minimi standard italiani

06/11/2025: Having come from the Parisian suburbs and not finding a reasonably priced restaurant in Trouville-sur-Mer, I had the pleasure of searching online and ended up eating at "Le Pur Sang" in Deauville. And I can tell you, my wife and I were not disappointed. A "café-restaurant," a rare find these days, with good, well-presented traditional cuisine (nothing more, nothing less), a generous selection of starters, charcuterie, crudités, homemade desserts, and even a carafe of simple but good Côtes du Rhône wine. It had a regular clientele, which confirmed my initial impression. All this for €64 from aperitif to dessert—I can't say for the coffee, though, because the owner treated us. You can go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. That's coming from a former restaurateur [after 35 years in the business].
