The open kitchen at some tables is a real plus, allowing you to see the team at work and the meticulous attention to detail in certain preparations. I gave the service four stars because I felt it was a shame not to have the same server throughout the meal.

01/07/2026: . We booked this restaurant because it has an excellent location and a reputation for good seafood. The Art Deco ambience is lovely, and both of our waiters were friendly and pleasant throughout. Unfortunately, the dinner service was completely chaotic. My son was served his fries but no steak, while I received my sole but no fries. Even a bottle of water never arrived. After waiting far too long and seeing little sign that things were being resolved, we gave up and went to a local bistro for dessert instead. I completely understand that mistakes happen in busy restaurants. What disappointed me most was the attitude of the manager. Rather than acknowledging that the service had gone wrong or apologising, he came across as slightly aggressive when we left. There was no sense that he cared about putting things right, which turned a frustrating meal into a very disappointing experience. The waiting staff did their best and I have no criticism of them. The issue was the lack of leadership and customer service from the person in charge. It’s a real shame, because the setting is excellent and the restaurant has a lot of potential.

14/06/2026: An incredible stay. The entire team, without exception, took excellent care of us and our 8-month-old daughter. They even accommodated specific requests (like a dishwasher in the room). The concierge, the pool, the bar, and the lobby were all very pleasant. This hotel truly deserves its 5 stars and is very kid-friendly. One small drawback was the parking. We were told not to necessarily reserve a space, and upon arrival, the parking lot was full (we may have misunderstood). However, a solution was found without any problems or delays.

08/06/2026: Passing through Deauville for the CSIO, I stopped for tea and to work at the hotel bar. The white tea was delicious, the service impeccable—no complaints there. However, in the bar, I had the charming company of a mouse, which accompanied my tea by scurrying between my legs, wandering between the restaurant area and the lobby, nibbling on leftover chips on the carpet and tiles. I reported Ratatouille's presence to the bar staff, who assured me that management would be informed. While my initial aim in reporting this wasn't to obtain compensation, which I politely declined, a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated in a 5-star establishment with this level of service. This comment is not intended to recoup anything retroactively. But simply to ensure that this experience isn't repeated by other customers in the coming weeks, and that the relevant teams are indeed alerted. This contrast clashes with the place and its legendary atmosphere.

03/05/2026: Excellent pastry shop. The Paris-Brest on a bed of nougatine is simply delicious! A must-try in Deauville.

12/04/2026: A truly accomplished pastry chef, trained by Jean François Foucher, no less! Renowned for the quality of her products AND her kindness, you absolutely must go because, what's more, it's less expensive than those Feuillette or Meunier places that lull you to sleep with their prices per kilo... yes, really, go check it out. In short, good, homemade, passionate—let's go!

26/06/2026: During a short stop in Deauville, we were looking for a place to have a morning coffee after a walk on the beach, when the city was just waking up. Based on the reviews, we chose Le Cyrano and for a quick coffee it served its purpose. As the sign at the entrance says “Café & Cigarette”, that is exactly the atmosphere of the place – a typical French café, where smoking is common with coffee. The coffee was good and the service was pleasant, but we personally prefer quieter cafés focused more on the coffee culture itself. If you are looking for an authentic French atmosphere, this may be a good choice for you.
