26/09/2026: Our first dinner since the takeover by a young couple! And what a gem has just opened in Vierzon!! We were completely won over by the quality of this duo's work. The chef captivated us with her exceptional cuisine. Everything is perfect: the quality of the ingredients, the flavors, the colors, the temperatures... The salmon bavarois is delicious and incredibly fresh, and the shrimp skewers with the vegetable wok (crisp as we like it and subtly cooked with the perfect seasoning) are absolutely divine 😋 The Baked Alaska for dessert was unlike anything we've ever tasted! In short, a short but more than enough menu to satisfy all tastes (it's all homemade), a welcome and service that's hard to find these days, and all at a very reasonable price. Congratulations on your hard work, dedication, and the sheer pleasure you bring us. See you soon!

25/09/2026: We went to this inn today for my birthday. The welcome was very warm and the food was extremely good, made with excellent quality ingredients. What's more, the owner, having learned of my birthday, gave me a lovely gift. I highly recommend this inn.

07/09/2026: I returned a second time to this Patàpain located at 16-18 Place Aristide-Briand in Vierzon, and unfortunately, the situation was the same: hygiene in the dining area clearly doesn't seem to be a priority. The tables were dirty and covered in crumbs. Trays still containing previous orders were left on the tables, forcing new customers to clear them themselves before being seated. The restrooms were also in a very poor state of cleanliness. Yet, there were few customers during my visit, so it would be perfectly possible to dedicate a few minutes to cleaning and tidying the dining area. It would be truly desirable for management to intervene and for a new manager to be appointed to head this establishment, someone who truly prioritizes hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service. It's a real shame, because with a minimum of oversight and maintenance, this restaurant could be much more pleasant.

07/09/2026: I arrived on September 1st around 5 pm. I ordered a sandwich meal deal for €4.95, which included a sandwich, fries, a drink, and a dessert. I asked the young woman serving me if it was possible to have a Coca-Cola instead, even if it meant paying extra. She said it was, but she added the drink to the meal deal and didn't offer me the drink included in the meal. Luckily, I was paying attention. Then, they were out of fries. She looked for them, getting annoyed and clearly showing that I was bothering her. She went to ask one of her colleagues. He arrived and told me they were out of fries, but that the meal deal was already good enough for me. Finally, after some negotiation, I managed to get a small cheesecake. A customer next to me pointed out that there was no more toilet paper, and the person replied that she would go when she had time, but in a frankly unpleasant tone. I found the situation surreal; I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was in the bakery.

02/11/2025: Too bad, we went back on 2/11 at 12:30 and the door was closed without warning. Initial review: We regularly stop at this establishment when passing through Vierzon, but on our last visit we received a poor experience: - cold main course - cold side dish - bad burger served - required phone number when paying - wet toilets In a setting typical of an American diner, you'll find a full menu of US specialties: burgers, hot dogs, wings, and the traditional Mac & Cheese.

21/04/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The welcome was warm, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the food was simply delicious. I highly recommend this establishment!

19/03/2026: The location is fantastic, just 5 minutes from the train station. The room was very reasonably priced; it was slightly chilly, but a good sweater was fine. As for the staff, I didn't see anyone when I arrived or when I left, which I found a bit disappointing. Another minor drawback is that whenever someone walks by in the hallway, that's all you can hear.
