28/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic, everything is truly excellent. The Banh mi is the best in Dijon.
27/07/2026: My family wanted to have some Vietnamese Banh Mi during our stay in Dijon. So I googled and found this one close to our hotel.
Luckily, we got the last breads of the day! I ordered the Bun Bo for me.
While the dishes were prepared I had a nice chat with one of the owners (the husband, I forgot to ask his name!). We shared some personal stories and also how he joined the restaurant business.
I wish the family all the best and hope they can continue to spread Vietnamese "street food" culture to the 3rd generation and beyond.

27/06/2026: I went to a restaurant near the hotel in the hot weather. There was no menu; it was a chef's special. The chef explained everything diligently in English, but I couldn't quite understand. I asked them to make it not too salty, and while it was a bit salty, it was delicious. I also had something like Korean Jajangmyeon, which felt like the original version. All the dishes are tasty, and the prices are reasonable. However, there is no air conditioning, so it is hot inside.

Don't miss it under any circumstances.
The chef does everything himself! And everything is delicious.
Behind the train station, next to the Ibis hotel.

This Asian caterer is a real gem. The dishes are delicious. You can taste the homemade quality.
The welcome is warm, always with a smile. Quick and efficient service.
The portions are generous and the value for money is truly excellent. And a special mention for the Too Good To Go baskets—they are always generous and delicious.
I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.

24/06/2026: In a calm and peaceful setting, a truly relaxing experience. Despite our last-minute reservation, we were warmly welcomed, advised, and served by Alex. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and prepared on-site by a fantastic chef!
(A superb experience to share with anyone wanting to discover the true flavors of Asian cuisine) I highly recommend it!!

31/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome at Village Mandarin! Sokhon and Frédéric took excellent care of us and offered a consistently high-quality culinary journey. There was also something for the eyes; the restaurant is decorated with Sokhon's floral paintings and Frédéric's portrait drawings.

11/07/2026: What a great find! You choose your starter(s), main course(s), sides, and dessert(s).
The price is clearly indicated for a normal portion.
If you want a little more, there's a small extra charge.
That day I had a wonderful meal! Vegetable samosas and spring rolls, caramelized chicken, stir-fried noodles with vegetables, and the cherry on top: fresh iced mochi! Raspberry and cherry blossom—it's amazing! (Especially the raspberry).
The prices are really attractive, and the quantity and quality are excellent! A little bit of traditional music would be a nice touch and would break up the atmosphere of the shopping center.

24/01/2026: The dining room was quiet despite the crowd (well soundproofed), the food was high quality and well presented, and the dishes always arrived at the perfect temperature! The servers were very friendly and there was no wait between courses, AND ABOVE ALL, the price was more than reasonable: €15.50 for a set menu (starter/main/dessert). A great find!

09/02/2026: Visited on Sunday at lunchtime. Got sick right after the meal. The spring rolls were inedible, impossible to cut with a knife, and tasteless. Very limited selection. Overall, nothing good. Avoid at all costs.
04/02/2026: For the past few years, we've been coming to Buffet d'Asie from time to time. Just after the Covid pandemic, the restaurant underwent a complete renovation.
Without being excessive, for the price of a set menu you can choose what you like; it's self-service.
I think the food is quite good and there's a good selection.

Der erste Eindruck vom „Restaurant“ trügt. Es ist eher ein Take-Away, hat aber trotzdem einige Tische zum sitzen. Wir hatten zu viert ein Tisch genommen. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch trotz vielen Take-Away Gästen, hat er sich sehr viel Zeit für und genommen.
Das Essen war super und sehr Authentisch.
Immer wieder :-)
