The dishes were delicious and generous.
The service was quick and friendly.
The dining room is beautifully decorated.
I recommend making a reservation, especially on weekend evenings.
25/01/2026: An original Korean restaurant. The fries are delicious, the dubab is fantastic (with an egg yolk instead of a fried egg like you see all too often…) especially the pork and tofu versions.
And on sunny days, the best tip is to get takeout and enjoy it by the Canal Saint-Martin in the sunshine 😁

04/02/2026: I'm giving it half the rating because I can't leave a review without a rating. I can't rate it since the restaurant was closed, the doors sealed. It looked like it had been closed for a while, but Google showed it as open. Too bad, we made the trip from the 78 (Yvelines) for nothing.

27/02/2026: A small but excellent selection of Korean ravioli and steak tartare. A limited but good wine selection. You can eat at the bar or at one of two tables with high stools. A truly memorable experience!

10/02/2026: For such a highly rated restaurant, 😱 I'm disappointed. The €26 ribeye steak was just chuck roast, basically tough, boiled beef for a stew. It's a rip-off!
To avoid disappointment, I think it's better to order chicken. I don't recommend this restaurant at all!!!
05/02/2026: A pleasant and friendly restaurant. I've tried several Korean restaurants in Paris, and this is the best I've eaten at.
The staff is welcoming and smiling.

02/03/2026: The staff was so patient with us despite the language barrier (we don't speak french), and the atmosphere was perfectly cozy. The food was hands-down the best we’ve ever had—especially the beef barbecue and the incredible desserts. Highly recommended.

For €15 you get: 1 salad, 2 dumplings, 1 soup, 1 beef and mixed vegetable bibimbap served with a fried egg and accompanied by 4 banchan (side dishes), and finally you have the choice between coffee, tea, or a scoop of ice cream!
Everything is very fresh, flavorful, and homemade. Well done and thank you very much!
18/02/2026: Bobae is a pleasant Korean restaurant for lunch. The flavors are good and well-balanced. I tried dishes like black soybean noodles (jajangmyeon), bibimbap, and Korean fried chicken. The portions are decent, and the atmosphere is simple but friendly. It's a perfectly satisfactory place for a midday meal.

01/03/2026: We were looking for a Korean restaurant, we chose this one somewhat randomly, and honestly, we weren't disappointed at all.
The meal was hearty and delicious; you can tell right away that everything is homemade.
It's a place without any fuss; it's simple and family-run.
The service is excellent: a free bottle of water, not tap water (and we even get to keep it!), and the small kimchi-style salads are refilled.
And the best part is, it's really inexpensive for Paris.
28/02/2026: I went to Darae Restaurant alone six years ago, but this time I went with my girlfriend. She wasn't feeling well and had a cold, but thanks to the owner's care, she was able to get through the rest of her schedule without any problems.
The food was still delicious, and the owner was very friendly. I wish the owner good health, and I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in Paris.

08/12/2025: I came by chance at lunchtime. They have a €20 set menu with dessert, which is more than enough. That said, the main course is 80% rice and very little meat, unfortunately. Otherwise, it's good. The service is fine and friendly. The dining room is decorated in a very understated dark gray.
Right in the heart of Paris.
04/12/2025: Raul and the owner were so friendly, and the service was the best of any Korean restaurant I've ever been to. It's hard to find plump samgyeopsal in Paris, so this was delicious :)

12/02/2026: Impeccable and very fast service. The bibimbap was delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. But the real surprise was the yuzu crème brûlée: absolutely exceptional! I could have easily eaten two more. A wonderful experience; I highly recommend it!

30/01/2026: We went for dinner as a couple. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, we were greeted with a smile and a very welcoming atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The portions are generous, so the price isn't too high considering the quality and the neighborhood.
31/12/2025: Visited Paris over the New Years period and visited the restaurant twice for dinner. Once on the 30th and once on the 31st of December. The food was excellent and so was the service. We were craving Korean food and this did the trick.

06/12/2025: It had been a long time since my last visit. I felt the taste had changed a bit compared to before, but the dishes were still good overall. On the other hand, the service was truly very pleasant and attentive. A good place, despite this slight evolution in flavors.
28/11/2025: Mixed experience: a simple and pleasant setting in a not particularly lively neighborhood. The clientele is Korean, which would seem promising, but the food isn't very refined. The raw fish selection is nice but expensive. The dishes are basic. The service tries its best, but overall it's not worth the trip.
