26/04/2026: The Real Taste of Home Cooking Found in Paris — Gohyang Sikdang! You know how sometimes, while living in Paris, you miss your mom's cooking? That is exactly when I go to Gohyang Sikdang. Perhaps because they make the filling themselves, the dumplings are definitely different from those I've had elsewhere. Each side dish tastes exactly like the home cooking my mom used to prepare, and my French friends absolutely love the bulgogi 👍 In particular, the spicy jokbal, dogani (beef tendon), and braised yellow croaker are amazing; it’s incredible that they can replicate this taste in Paris. The green tea and perilla seed ice cream served for dessert are also homemade by the owner, so they aren't too sweet but have a nutty flavor that provides a clean finish. And the hotteok... it's actually tastier than the ones I used to eat in Korea. Seriously. 😄 It’s a place I always take guests to, and everyone is amazed! With such great value for money, it is the best Korean restaurant in Paris 🩷 Highly recommended! 👍👍👍👍👍

This is the best cold noodles I've ever had, I'm really amazed! The side dishes here are also especially delicious. Especially the kimchi, the vegetables in the cold noodles, and the potatoes.

19/05/2026: The food is truly delicious: the jajangmyeon (black sauce noodles), the tangsuyuk, and the japjae—everything is good. However, the restaurant is quite small, and the wait for a table and for your food is rather long. Something to keep in mind before going. But the quality of the food is worth it.

29/04/2026: Dining at Mandoobar is a truly exceptional experience. Everything is delicious, refined, and delicate. The dishes are prepared with exquisite subtlety right before your eyes. It's a silent ballet where everyone plays their part with dexterity. A soothing calm pervades the place. The staff is charming, smiling, and attentive. We adore this place and the people who work there.

It was perfect. ❤️🥰 I had been there a few years ago and it's still very good... I recommend it if you want to try Korean food.

30/05/2026: A Korean oasis in Paris. Since discovering this place, I visited for two consecutive days during the rest of my trip. The yukhoe (raw beef) is particularly delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Even my parents, who are picky eaters, were satisfied. I highly recommend it!

13/04/2026: A very pleasant surprise! The food is excellent and plentiful. The atmosphere and service are also very friendly. If you come during the week, the menu is really great value; there's plenty to eat and a wide variety of dishes for a fantastic price.

30/05/2026: 1. It was nice that the male owner provided cold ice water. 2. The soybean paste stew and tteokbokki were decent. 3. They drizzle teriyaki-style sauce over the gimbap, but it isn't authentic Korean style, so don't get your hopes up. 4. It is disappointing if you eat expecting Korean-style spicy stir-fried pork. The part where they provided cold water on a hot day is what I remember most.

We’re lucky it’s right in our neighborhood, so we’ve basically tried almost everything on the menu, and it’s all delicious! The service is also excellent—everyone is very friendly, and they’re always patient and helpful whenever we need anything. Strooooooongly recommended!

12/05/2026: And yes, we devoured everything! More seriously, the KB meal is perfect, with its delicious soup and three small appetizers. We ordered three different meats to try the various flavors: duck and two kinds of beef. Our favorite was the Bulgogi beef, with its flavorful marinade, all accompanied by a small bibimbap.

01/06/2026: For my first Korean food experience, I must admit I was quite disappointed. The welcome was very cold and impersonal. We chose a set menu with three appetizers: a rather uninteresting broth, followed by a soy roll with meat that I didn't enjoy at all, due to its rather slimy texture. For my main course, I had fried chicken. It was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. For dessert, sesame ice cream with what appeared to be whipped cream from a can. Again, nothing exceptional. In the end, the bill came to €92 for two people. Considering the overall experience, I wasn't convinced by the value for money. Unfortunately, a disappointing experience for a first taste of Korean cuisine.
