27/07/2026: The setting is very pleasant, with lovely tables by the water, your feet in the sand. The waiter who looked after us was very kind, smiling, and attentive. Unfortunately, we were more ambivalent about the meal. The two detox cocktails were truly disappointing. Fortunately, we weren't charged for them. They were presented as cocktails, but they were actually just infused water, tasteless and uninteresting. My avocado toast was excellent, but the papaya salad didn't win us over. The dressing didn't add much to the dish. On the other hand, the prawns were very good and perfectly cooked. For dessert, I chose the macaron. It was visually appealing and very tempting, but unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to expectations. The sugar completely overpowered it and masked the other flavors. With better balance, it would have been much better. Finally, one thing really surprised us: the desserts are presented to customers on a tray, solely to showcase the different creations available. The actual desserts served are not the actual desserts, but rather display pieces. I imagine they are kept refrigerated during service, but regularly taking them out and leaving them exposed to the heat, especially when it was nearly 35°C (95°F), doesn't seem like a good idea. Throughout the day, their appearance deteriorates significantly, and they end up looking rather unappetizing. Visually, this doesn't do the desserts justice at all. A simple menu or photos would, in our opinion, be much more effective. Furthermore, knowing that these display desserts are thrown away at the end of the day makes us uneasy: food waste that we find truly regrettable. So, a mixed experience overall. The setting is beautiful, and the staff is pleasant, but several aspects of the restaurant service deserve improvement.

Special mention to our "fisherman" who prepared lobsters that our taste buds will remember for a long time! And our waiter was excellent too! 19/08/2026: How to Destroy a Family Legacy If you enjoy being taken for a ride in a supposedly luxurious place, go for it! Just ask the managers, and you'll realize you're nothing more than cattle. Arrogance and aggression from the managers, a lack of qualified staff, rigid and inconsistent rules. In short, a 1.5-hour wait for tiny, cold dishes. And then everyone was kicked out at 6 p.m. After reading the reviews, I'm reassured that I'm far from alone. The neighboring establishments have less history, more quality, and even the same beautiful scenery.

02/01/2026: This so-called Black Forest log looks more like a cream-filled sewer grate, packed with cherries with an excessive alcohol content 😵‍💫 It cost us €40 for a mouthful of low-quality cream 😑 Run to Picard instead; you can buy three infinitely better logs for the same price. Furthermore, the service was very unpleasant and nonchalant; I was practically smelling the saleswoman's cigarette smoke as she let it waft into the shop. 🚭

26/07/2026: An excellent experience at the Tropicana in Porto-Vecchio! We had a wonderful evening, with a truly delicious dinner and carefully prepared, tasty dishes. A special mention goes to the service: the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, always smiling and ready to accommodate every need. A pleasant evening in a beautiful location on the harbor. Congratulations to the entire staff; we'll definitely be back!

24/07/2026: I came today, July 24th, with my child. The waitress, Lucie, was lovely from beginning to end. There wasn't much of a wait for the food. The meal was very good and plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

07/08/2026: We just had a wonderful breakfast on the terrace for €9. The set menu was complete and high-quality: delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, a choice of Dammann Frères tea, a croissant or a pain au chocolat, and generous slices of bread with butter and jam. The service also deserves a mention. The waiter was particularly pleasant, smiling, and very attentive to his customers' well-being, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A great place to start the day. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!
