27/07/2026: Returning from the horse races this Sunday evening, we stopped for dinner at this restaurant.
What a pleasant surprise!
The owner, who also serves as the waiter, is very friendly and pleasant.
Our order was taken quite quickly.
The menu is small, but everything is homemade.
Two people in the kitchen prepare the orders.
The dishes are beautifully presented.
It's clear that this place will become a must-visit in this region. Wishing the whole team a great season!
I highly recommend this restaurant.
23/07/2026: We stumbled upon L’Authentique quite by chance during a hike through the Corsican mountains. To be honest, when we arrived, we weren't necessarily expecting a great culinary experience: the restaurant doesn't look particularly impressive from the outside, and it wasn't exactly on our itinerary.
And yet… what a surprise! I ordered a burger and it was absolutely delicious. A truly great find, with a generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared dish. It just goes to show, you can't always judge a book by its cover!
The service was also excellent: the servers and cooks were all very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We really had a great time.
Another very positive point: the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality offered.
A wonderful and completely unexpected discovery during our stay in Corsica. If I ever pass through Zonza again, I will definitely stop by L’Authentique once more!

21/05/2026: Magnificent, not very easy to access on foot although fairly well signposted, a real treat for the eyes.
21/05/2026: A truly extraordinary place. We were there in mid-May, and the weather was nearly perfect for the short hike along the river and past various pools. Some sections of the trail aren't easy, but with good shoes and a bit of training, you'll be able to enjoy the unique scenery.

The cocktails are excellent, the food is very, very good and homemade. The staff is lovely, welcoming, and always smiling.
04/07/2026: Fantastic beach bar on a beautiful, shaded beach, practically right on the water. A very warm welcome, good food, and a special mention for the clementine cheesecake.

22/07/2026: Sandwiches and salads made with good Corsican products. Very reasonable prices. The service was very slow, with only one person (welcoming and friendly) doing everything and a lot of customers to serve. A major drawback is the location by the roadside near an intersection; in the summer, there's a lot of traffic and therefore deafening noise.
20/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!
We stopped for lunch while passing through. Twenty minutes after ordering, we were told they were out of bread for sandwiches. Their solution was to switch us to the €21 Corsican platter, consisting of four slices of ham, four slices of sausage, and two tiny pieces of butter. If you simply want to have a drink while listening to the cars go by, then go for it.

09/07/2026: What a lovely surprise! The terrace was fantastic, we parked the motorcycle to enjoy a superb meal and a top-notch welcome. I've recommended this restaurant to all my biker friends.

05/07/2026: It took some nerve to set up this "riverside café" right in the middle of the industrial zone. The gamble paid off: you're right by the sea, the menu is brasserie-style, nothing extraordinary gastronomically, but the food is decent. Just a word of advice during the summer months: book your table or arrive early.
04/07/2026: Frankly, I'm very disappointed. I arrive, and there are two people ordering at what appears to be the "land" side of the restaurant, and they seem to be together. I stand to their right, waiting to be served. The first person orders and takes a little while, no problem, except I realize they weren't with the second person. I apologize for the confusion, but in the meantime, a queue has formed behind them. I try to explain the misunderstanding, and the waitress coldly and condescendingly tells me that there's been a queue for ages and that I should get in line, which is completely untrue... Then there's the price, exorbitant, and you have to serve and clear your own table? Seriously, a guinguette (a type of open-air restaurant) should have guinguette prices, or you have to serve yourself. Unacceptable.

09/09/2025: We decided to go at 8:05 PM (two hours before closing), but were turned away by the owner, who said he'd run out of dough, although we could have gotten something else. Today, when we stopped by (with no intention of returning) at 7:47 PM, the place was closed.
