01/10/2024: A good meal. Good cuisine, a sure bet in Paimpol

24/09/2024: We had lunch there as a family. Supper menu, starter main course, dessert of the day at €26.90, either main course starter at €24 or dessert main course. Everything is homemade, very refined and tasty. We had mackerel as a starter, cod and beef stew as a main course and chocolate mousse and crème brûlée for dessert, all washed down with 50cl of chardonnay and 50cl of St Nicolas de Bourgueil and 5 coffees. We paid 181€ for 5 people. We had a great time. Just for the story in this restaurant I worked there 40 years ago but at the time it was a tool and household appliance store, a Catena.

08/12/2025: Friendly place and welcome with a relaxed atmosphere. When you stop by in the morning for a latte, no worries, the coffee is good.

09/12/2025: Disappointed. The galette was dry, the andouillette was rubbery, and the fries were shriveled. It's a shame because the place is friendly and the service pleasant; it's just a pity the food was so mediocre.

27/10/2024: a homemade chocolate waffle and a small bottle of water, all to take away for 6.50 euros. It's still a bit expensive for a fairly good waffle but probably not the best I've eaten.

27/09/2024: Excellent restaurant with a view of the port. We were passing through Paimpol for a week, with our little dog. We had lunch on Monday afternoon at Uncle Guy's, and as everything was very good, we decided to return there the next day and every day of the week from September 23 to 27. If you want to eat well, for a very reasonable price, you've come to the right place. The servers are very friendly, attentive, and attentive, there is no waiting between dishes. Without hesitation, I recommend.

15/12/2024: Comment dire..... J'ai envie de demander au cuisinier un autographe, de le serrer dans mes bras et de lui dire "je t'aime" . Aucune fausse note.... Petit amuse bouche divin. Plateau de fruits de mer..... j'en ai jamais manger un aussi bon.... Ma femme des riz de veau sauce vanillé..... Pour moi en dessert un moelleux au chocolat et une sphère café pour mon épouse. Délicieux 😋 😋 😋

12/12/2024: We came to dine in this magnificent restaurant on December 5 and we had a great time! We were able to taste the abalone which was prepared with an exquisite heliantis puree. Everything was perfect! The turbo was excellent and so were the oysters. The atmosphere, the decor, the restaurant is warm overlooking the pretty port of Paimpol. The staff were also very pleasant and gave good advice. We will return to Brittany and the Neptune will be an obligatory stopover! THANKS !
