06/08/2024: Gezellig autoloos straatje, helaas is het eten matig. De pizza’s van de kids waren oke, ons eten kwam nadat zij klaar waren. De zalm was droog en koud, de fajitas waren niet zo bijzonder. Geen aanrader

30/08/2024: Man sitzt am Rande des Marktplatzes von Nyons unter den Arkaden in sehr schlicht-schöner Atmosphäre. Der Service und die Weinberatung sind kompetent und freundlich. Die asiatisch-französischen Gerichte schmecken sehr gut. Die Desserts mit großer Finesse sind ein Hochgenuss. Der Besuch im Le Verre à Soie ist ein Highlight des Urlaubs in der Provence.

12/10/2024: Very nice café with a large pleasant terrace with palm trees and a fountain that makes the difference. Smiling and welcoming owner if you are in the area, I recommend it for a pleasant moment for a coffee croissant or a drink... They don't serve dishes but the great welcome is worth it, so be advised to take a tour 👍👍😉

02/09/2024: See further in this review: August 2024. Had an unpleasant experience. PIN transaction would not have worked, they waved a receipt. I paid in cash, later it turned out that the amount had been debited after all. Unreliable cafe, a shame because it is a nice place and the coffee is fine. September 2, 2024 The PIN transaction has now been refunded. Very nice of this company! So I upgraded the review from 1 star to 5 stars because the place is beautiful and the coffee is excellent!

16/08/2024: Cuisine très colorée et pleine de saveurs où la daube provençale côtoie le rougail de saucisse. Le tout très bien cuisiné. Mention spéciale pour le Colombo d'agneau. Prix très honnêtes. Accueil charmant et très souriant. A recommander.

24/06/2024: How wonderful it is to enjoy a good glass of wine and delicacies here. Great tables and chairs, not that sticky plastic stuff, with a nice view of the famous square. Super friendly and helpful owner, also reasonable in English if desired, who clearly enjoys that you are there and enjoying yourself. Delicious local products with an explanation of everything, including soup. In short, highly recommended.

11/09/2024: Reception, not great, we have times to arrive..... we had to wait 3 hours to be able to return, the room is very small, but the worst is the bathroom! A storage room (sink when entering, to the right the WC but when you sit down you have your feet under the sink and your head in it, and to get into the shower, you have to stand sideways because this famous sink is also in front of the shower door!!!! I should have taken a photo!

18/08/2024: Petite terrasse très sympathique sous les arcades. Mercredi 8 aout, 10h du matin il fait chaud une pause s’impose … Etablissement sympa pour une pause sur la jolie place des arcades. La carte est gourmande (pas de restauration) : Bières artisanales, thés de qualité (les même que chez moi), sirops bios et des friandises et glaces semble-t-il savoureuses. Une « Bivouak » (bière de Nyons) bien fraiche pour moi et un café pour madame. Nos "voisins" avec des enfants se sont tournés vers les glaces (selon eux très bonnes). L’équipe de service agréable et dynamique et pro : pas trop d’attente pourtant la terrasse complète. Un bon petit plaisir de cet été.

18/08/2024: Very nice little terrace under the arcades. Wednesday August 8, 10 a.m. it's hot, a break is necessary... Nice establishment for a break on the pretty Place des Arcades. The menu is gourmet (no catering): Craft beers, quality teas (the same as at home), organic syrups and sweets and ice creams that seem tasty. A cold “Bivouak” (Nyons beer) for me and a coffee for Madame. Our “neighbors” with children turned to the ice cream (very good according to them). The pleasant, dynamic and professional service team: not too much waiting yet the terrace is complete. A nice little treat this summer.
