14/09/2024: Stumbled upon this place by chance and we are so glad we did. Extensive wine selection, very big portion sizes, and attentive staff that walk you through the wines suggestion.
Highlights were the burger, the famous chocolate cake, red wines from the region, and fish dishes.
12/09/2024: Food was fresh, simple, and delicious. Liked the wine options quite a bit as well.

14/09/2024: Came here with friends. The portion of paella was very generous. The seafood was very fresh and sweet. The Sangria wine I ordered was the best I have ever tasted. It’s a great restaurant. They also gave us chili oil to enhance the flavor. The waiters were also very friendly. It was OK. Speaks fluent English, five-star rating!

15/09/2024: To begin we would like to talk about human beings, because yes this restaurant is above all centered on meeting, sharing and love. Generous cuisine, grandmother's recipes (cod accras) as well as various platters to enjoy with others (or alone). No, we were won over by the kindness of the staff who take the time for you (so rare in these streets crowded with tourists).

20/09/2024: Food is of very high quality, lovingly prepared, aesthetically pleasing with enough fusion (samosa in a Japanese restaurant!) to keep it interesting. The aubergine may be the best ever. The proprietoress came out of the kitchen and engaged in a fun discussion with us. A gem in Nice.
12/09/2024: Been here a couple of times and loved every single dish. The service is friendly, well informed and passionate. The food is great and the sake selection matches the quality of everything.
Highly recommend heading to maido.

The team, led by Raphaël, was incredibly accommodating, tailoring a package swiftly to meet our needs. Their attentiveness and professionalism allowed us to enjoy our time with our guests fully.
The food and drinks were outstanding and presented beautifully. The staff's genuine care and attention created a warm and celebratory atmosphere that made the evening unforgettable.
We can't recommend Raphaël and his team highly enough. We will be back and can recommend it to anyone.

08/09/2024: Everything was delicious, not too expensive, the service was perfect, the bread arrived on its own, the water was replaced without much waiting, just the room was a little too noisy, but it was a rainy day.

Difficult service, you have to repeat what you ordered several times, for the dishes, despite taking notes. The service is fast.
Meal level is above average, all dishes are well presented, but limited quantity on certain meats for the price we pay. This remains delicious.
For dessert, not too many problems with service, presentable too, limited quantity for the Café Liège and Caramelized Cream (in which in the latter, it is difficult to get the caramel).
The general atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly and attentive.
For the decor, don't hesitate on the dust of the bench and on the lights (spider web)
According to some regulars, the best is in the evening, so I'm spreading the word 👍

17/09/2024: Incredible spot to go out to eat. Generous portion sizes, friendly staff, good vibes, and amazing food that is out of this world.
The braised duck and the frog legs in particular were full flavoured, juicy, tender, and left you full but you wish you could keep eating them.

29/08/2024: Bar was good and great drinks and price - we went for karaoke waited an hour for the songs we had put down and Ines the karaoke host only played one of the songs we had written down and then started playing the karaoke songs that were for her friends. Wouldn't have minded if she then played our songs after but she became annoyed when we asked if she was going to play the others songs we requested. She played one more song for us but turned the mic down - quite unprofessional. But we still had a good night!

02/06/2024: endroit super, la musique est génial également, mais alors la raison pour laquelle je ne retournerai jamais dans cet endroit, c’est le videur.
En sortant, voulant fumer, une cigarette, il nous a mis un coup de pression, donc je suis allé simplement lui poser la question du pourquoi du comment, et il m’a directement agressé verbalement.
Je trouve ça inadmissible de m’être un videur comme celui-ci, pour que vous puissiez le reconnaître, c’était le samedi 2 juin vers 1h du matin. Cette personne est censée assurer la sécurité de tout le monde et là c’est directement lui qui provoque les embrouilles. Je suis vraiment déçue car j’adore ce bar mais pour que j’y revienne il faut absolument changer de videur. En plus en regardant les avis je vois que je ne suis pas la seule à me plaindre, il faut donc prendre une décision immédiate.

06/08/2024: This place is one of the rare places in Nice that you can find KIND service. The owners are very nice. The crepes I had were tasty. The place overlooks one of the most central areas in Nice which is Plaza Garibaldi.
I will go back!
