17/04/2024: Le Max is a café bar located in a pedestrian street about a hundred meters from the Etienne Marcel Metro station. It is a lively café bar area every day from late afternoon. Happy Hours are from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The establishment has a shaded terrace on the pedestrian street with a projection of a football match on its window. Inside there are two rooms, one on the ground floor and one in the basement. Both rooms are welcoming and are nicely decorated. There's a wide choice of drinks and snacks. In the middle of a rush, the service is down and you have to be patient, which can be up to 50 minutes of waiting or call out the black waiter who is helpful. Apart from that, it's one of the best Parisian café bars in the Châtelet les Halles district. There's nothing to say about the quality, price and quantity ratio.

06/04/2024: The security guard is a crook, he first indicates that he must pay to be able to access the ring and then indicates that he must pay again to access the ring. When we ask him for clearer explanations, he rejects us in a muscular and annoyed manner. In short, a very bad experience. I hope the wrestlers are less hostile than the security guard. In addition, women seem to have an advantage when it comes to access to the ring....

15/03/2024: The food was very mediocre with not a lot of taste. The croquettes hardly had any ham or chorizo inside and were not crunchy. The patatas bravas were not very nice either. The toilets were not very clean.

30/04/2024: Travelled from Australia last year and upon researching found out about Ferdi and their famous cheeseburger. We went to dinner and the kind man working said he would hold 2 burgers for us as soon as we walked in, in order to give us time to order some drinks. As 5 minutes past a woman working came to our table to take our food order so we told her that we would have the 2 cheeseburgers and our drink order. To which she replies sorry we don’t reserve burgers (the restaurant was empty) until a group of locals to which she seemed to be friend with came in. So we opted for one cheeseburger and another meal. However it wasn’t until we noticed the table she was friendly with had 4 cheeseburgers AFTER we had placed our order. We didn’t make a big deal of it however just disappointing that we were foreigners excited to try yet her friends and her attitude was a priority.

19/08/2023: Didn't eat here, but still needed urgent medical attention as my partner had sustained a cut on a nearby lantern. The owner was sitting in front of the restaurant and was talking. When we approached him and tried to ask for a band-aid, he rudely brushed us off by pointing out that the restaurant was closed, and he did so several times. I have rarely met such an anti-social and rude person.

24/03/2024: Not so bad. Nice station from the outside, but it's quite difficult to find the right exit

23/03/2024: Large station, direct access with line D being in front of the train... There are 3 halls.... Hall 1 is detached..... The tables are well indicated..... If we have hard, there are quite a few agents available.... It's nice to have access with QR codes instead of large tickets.

03/02/2024: Cinco Jotas (5 Jotas) is a franchise specializing in processed meat products such as ham and jamon, located in Jabugo, a small city near Seville, Spain, boasting over 100 years of history and tradition. You can also enjoy the taste at the food hall of the Lafayette Department Store in France, where you can taste jamon made properly with Bellota-grade Black Label pigs, so if you happen to stop by nearby, I recommend you to try it.
