29/04/2026: Had such a lovely dinner! Patrice is passionate and so friendly. He speaks English, French, or Spanish! He walks you through the menu and is super helpful with the dishes. We got the calamari, anchovies, peppers and tuna, and the potats. I loved them all!!! The calamari wasn’t overly breaded and cooked well. The anchovies were buttery and salty. The peppers were stuffed with tuna which was my fiancés favourite and the potats were crispy and the sauce on it was delicious. I wish we didn’t wait until our last night in Paris to come because this would’ve been a spot we’d come to regularly. If you’re itching for some tapas or a little taste of Basque Country, you need to come here!

05/05/2026: A truly wonderful place. The storefront is unassuming, but... it's a feast for the eyes! The welcome was perfect, the waiter was friendly and attentive. We only had an hour for dinner, and they kept to the schedule. The food is authentic, made on-site, full of flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The setting is elegant. The prices are reasonable, reflecting the quality of the experience. Well done to the team!

30/04/2026: While in Paris with my wife and child, we received a very warm welcome at this establishment. The owner even lent my 6-year-old daughter some toys during the (short) wait. The welcome was friendly, the dinner excellent (as evidenced by the speed at which our plates were devoured, much to the waiter's delight), and all for a very reasonable price! I highly recommend it! Thank you again for this wonderful experience!

04/05/2026: Even though it was fully booked, we were able to get a table. Our one year old son got all the attention while mom and dad were able to enjoy some wines and charcuterie. Soon the place got more full - it’s very clear it’s a well known wine bar! We got to taste multiple wines and even brought a bottle back home. We would love to come back for sure!

07/07/2025: I know this authentic bistro seems very busy at the end of the day. Through an acquaintance, I had made a reservation. So the only problem, probably due to the lack of space in the bar and dining room, is the noise from the bar's patrons echoing into the table-service dining area, especially when people are leaning against the bar in part of the small corridor leading to the restaurant. It's a shame there isn't a wine list, but probably because of the large number of bottles you can consume with your eyes. But a lovely evening.

16/03/2026: Carine was so sweet, and I loved the service I received! I dined solo, and she took good care of me. I had the Pulpo and the pork belly! Both were perfect; honestly, the Pulpo was as good as the one I've had in Barcelona!!! The pork belly melted in my mouth. This was one of my favorite and many meals in Paris.

15/04/2026: Wow, definitely one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood!! The setting is lovely and clean. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the service is quick and efficient. The appetizers and main courses are excellent, generous portions, and very reasonably priced (€19.50 for the set lunch menu with appetizer and main course)! I highly recommend it!

24/04/2026: Never trust a restaurant that tries to force you into tipping. As if the Applebee's-esque cocktail menu didn't give it away, they'll try to force you into adding a 10/15/20% tip playing off the US tipping culture. Tipping culture is an American phenomenon and shady establishments will try to take advantage of tourists. Stay away. Besides, the food is not good. There are literally hundreds of infinitely better cafes nearby. Avoid this place!

10/04/2026: One of the most beautiful cafes in Paris, certainly the best one we have experienced. If you want great ambience and great conversation, come here! A little pricey but if you are just visiting Paris. Remember, you can’t get this in your country so it is worth the money for a unique cafe experience.
