11/02/2026: Sorry, but I had the impression that everything was pre-prepared: canned mushrooms, a slice of ham hastily placed on top, and a barely warmed buckwheat galette. The service was friendly and smiling. One of the glasses had a lipstick stain. That was too much! Otherwise, everything else seemed clean.

A warm welcome, quick service, beautifully presented dishes, and high-quality ingredients.
There's a good variety of dishes and desserts, and I particularly enjoyed the St. Malo crêpe with its rum flambé. 👍 We'll definitely be back! 😁

In addition, the waiters were incredibly kind. Well worth a visit.

05/02/2026: My boyfriend and I go there several times a month and it's always a real pleasure. The value for money is excellent. The sushi is delicious, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous. It's hearty and, above all, truly excellent.

20/01/2026: 11/25 DISAPPOINTMENT. No other words come to mind when I realize that the incredible traditional doughnuts have disappeared, replaced by mass-produced ones.
01/26 Second visit today, I try the doughnuts again. The saleswoman assures me that "no, nothing has changed in 4 years"—I'll overlook the condescending tone—despite my previous disappointment and the numerous reviews. Unfortunately, the doughnut is clearly not the same quality as before, and to make matters worse, there's a lack of transparency in the sales pitch. Since this obvious drop in quality, I've only come when the other two bakeries are closed. From now on, I'll go without bread on those days. A change in focus on quality can be explained, but denying it with such disregard for the respect due to customers is a business mistake. I almost feel sorry for this business, which was once so high-quality.

Is this restaurant good and pleasant?
In the heart of Milly-la-Forêt, this small restaurant, Le Cygne, will delight both young and old. First, we'll look at the dishes, then the decor and service, and finally, a conclusion. However, we won't be discussing the bar and hotel.
We ordered two main courses and two desserts, which were very good, but in my opinion, not quite up to the standard of the previous menu. The meat was cooked rare as requested, and the portions were reasonable, but I would have liked a third small side dish. A small, light appetizer was offered.
Good desserts.
The decor and staff are decent, with a full but not noisy dining room. Note: there's a terrace. The service was pleasant and fairly quick. Friendly staff, attentive to requests.
Conclusion: A bit pricey for what you get, but not excessive. "Le Cygne" restaurant is perfectly adequate for business or social meals, but it doesn't seem to live up to the excellent restaurant it used to be.
"Cool, but hey, there are better places, man."
