06/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is worth the trip. Once you've explored the restaurant, the service is impeccable and friendly, and what can I say about the food except that it's excellent? Don't change a thing! I highly recommend it; go without hesitation. The value for money is incredible for this region. We will be back.

12/06/2026: Lovely place to stay. Arrived by taxi from Quimper after ferry and trains from UK.
Lovely friendly staff.
Swim in the salty spa pool was great.
Dinner and breakfast superb.
We set off along the GR 34 fully rested!
Right by a beautiful beach.
04/06/2026: Hotel near the beach, 3 stars but it's a 13 🌟 + attentive staff who meet every possible expectation... Newspaper, umbrella 🌂, delicious breakfast, mint water 🍋, information and advice in the lobby, etc... Premium room with sea view, washing machine ☕, what more could you want? TV, bathtub, quiet space and more... a stay for 2, 5 minutes from the Thalasso spa.
Thank you to the entire Kastel team who rise to every challenge 😄

24/05/2026: Very nice hotel, attentive staff, very varied and excellent breakfasts, very good quality meals, very good cuisine.
19/05/2026: We stayed at the Armoric Hôtel in Bénodet for three days during a gathering of a group of cycling tourists in April 2026.
The quality of the hotel's services and the warm welcome from all the staff were remarkable and allowed us to have a very pleasant stay in a relaxing setting with a very convenient location.
Special mention goes to Stéphanie, the hotel's reception manager, for her kindness and professionalism.

21/05/2026: We stopped at La Croisette by chance for a meal and left completely satisfied. A pleasant moment, a very warm welcome, and a small menu, which is always a good sign. Thank you to the very professional team for allowing us to have such a lovely time. See you soon!

08/06/2026: A very warm welcome with a smile. The mussels marinière with fries were cooked perfectly, and the fries were delicious. I've rarely eaten such good mussels in a restaurant.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
08/06/2026: I tried the curry mussels in Brest... I ended up drinking the last of the bowl! Plus, the music was just right for me! Without a doubt, the best mussels I've ever had in a restaurant!

02/06/2026: Avoid the Bains de Mer hotel! While the Grand Hotel is pleasant, its annex, Les Bains de Mer, is a disaster. Thank you to the reception staff for allowing me to change rooms at the last minute.

11/05/2026: I'm an old-timer; I love the sound of machines, the coins dropping. Here, everything is virtual currency, except for the bills you insert into the machine. Nice casino, but the machines aren't for me, except of course for the gaming tables. 😀

26/10/2025: A fairly well-located hotel with an attractive rate. But that doesn't justify the poor hygiene of the bathroom: significant mold around the shower grout and tiles, as well as the vents, a window that doesn't open... a musty smell, and in short, an unsanitary bathroom.
The room paint, a blue that dates back to 1970, the carpet is stained, and the smell of tobacco is very strong.
I had an asthma attack!
A rather generous breakfast could be had at another hotel on an adjacent street.
The photos on the hotel's website do not correspond at all to reality.

01/10/2025: The room has an 80s decor, light blue all the way to the ceiling, and a pink bathroom.
The bathroom has black grout and the water drains very slowly.
In fact, you shouldn't be too wide to use the shower because the opening is only 37cm wide...
We had to go through the main hotel to pick up and return the keys because there are no staff at the hotel.
Otherwise, the bedding was good, the pool looked nice, and there's free parking in front of the hotel on the street.

06/08/2024: Aperols infects pour 8 €. Rien d'autre à ajouter. Ambiance peu chaleureuse. C'est pas facile de faire 100 caractères sur de la médiocrité.
16/06/2024: L’accueil est particulièrement sympathique.
Le teppanyaki de saumon est délicieux, avec son excellente sauce.
En dessert, la mousse de matcha faite maison est originale et excellente. On s’est même assuré que je savais ce dont il s’agissait, en me prévenant que certains n’aiment pas… moi j’ai particulièrement apprécié !
Je recommande tout particulièrement pour l’originalité et l’excellent rapport qualité prix

26/10/2025: The restaurant, which should only be a snack bar, turns out to be the best hamburger restaurant I've ever tried, simply perfect, even the homemade fries are extra. How come they serve such delicacies in a children's playground? And the decor is always beautifully designed. A must-visit place for families with children, especially in bad weather.
30/07/2025: Very disappointing: Passing through Bénodet, we stopped. Very noisy atmosphere, 30 minutes to take the order, after another 30 minutes I went to see if we had not been forgotten. I was told that the team was understaffed in the kitchen and that we had to wait another 25-30 minutes (for 4 plates including 3 salads). I asked for a refund, and after a miscalculation in my favor, I was asked to go back to the campsite reception to get my refund (and another wait) and what's more, they didn't apologize at the restaurant and they didn't even say goodbye to me. What a disappointment, what a lack of professionalism!
