02/10/2026: We ordered two pizzas. When we went to pick up the order, only one was ready. The woman at the counter checked the order and confirmed that two pizzas had indeed been ordered. I politely suggested we wait so they could correct their mistake. And then the cook replied, "No, I didn't forget anything, and I don't have time to make another pizza." Excuse me, but since when should a customer have to suffer the consequences of an internal error? 🤔 I was then offered, "Otherwise, at 9 p.m..." (it was 6:45 p.m.) or even, "I'll deduct it from your bill, so you'll pay less." Lucky me, right? And even if the mistake came from the counter and not the pizza maker, you're a team. Passing the buck and telling the customer that you "don't have time" to redo what was forgotten is clearly not a professional way to handle a mistake. It happens, nobody's perfect. What's unacceptable is that nothing is being done to fix it. We've been coming for years and now we won't be coming anymore, and I don't think this situation would have arisen with the current manager.

20/08/2026: Last July 26th, I was delighted to visit the pastry shop. I was in Quimper for a couple of days with my family. While I was choosing pastries for my tray with my son, I asked him to continue with the lady serving us, and I left to go to the restroom. On the way, a woman with dark brown bob-cut hair blocked my path, saying the restroom was off limits. When I asked her in surprise why it was off limits, she replied that it was for customer use only. I told her I was a customer and that I was buying pastries, but she kept repeating, even laughing mockingly, that using the restroom was off limits. I, who really needed to use the restroom, showed her my disability card, trying to make her understand that I really needed to go to the restroom, also because of my disability. She adamantly kept sending me away. My son approached to support me, making me feel uncomfortable and tired, and asked her if customers sitting there eating and paying higher prices for desserts than takeaways could use the restroom. She nodded, laughing again in yet another irreverent and haughty manner. At the end of this sad story, not even the desserts were good, nothing special. However, the ones from the pastry shop next door were truly excellent, with kind staff who even let us sample them, since we were buying a certain amount to take back to Italy. We went back there for breakfast the next two mornings! REPLY TO THE KIND LADY. You are most welcome to invent whatever you like to try to make up for the miserable embarrassment you made. The fact remains that you did not allow a disabled person, especially a customer who had purchased from your certainly not cheap pastry shop, to use the restroom, despite the fact that it was for the exclusive use of customers, as written and reiterated by you. The reality is that the restroom is for customers' use, but only when, after having already purchased from the "expensive" pastry shop, they have paid an additional fee for access to the restroom. Fortunately, I have never seen such a despicable thing, especially in a shop that claims to be a great temple of French pastries. Dear Madam, your horrific gesture at that moment and your response speak for themselves; the rest is explicit and obvious; there's nothing more to add. LAST RESPONSE Good evening. We agree on one thing: it's a waste of time continuing this discussion, so I won't go any further. On the other hand, the essential fact has been confirmed by you yourself: a disabled customer who purchased from you was denied use of the restroom. Users and future potential customers will be the ones to evaluate the reliability of the descriptions of what happened, as well as the needlessly aggressive manner of the owners. I've read reviews from other clients who have dared to point out shortcomings, rudeness, or other negative aspects, and I've noticed that the same aggressive response is common. When you choose to work with people, you must also accept criticism and complaints constructively, as an incentive to continually improve and grow! Best regards

21/09/2026: The buckwheat crêpes are excellent. The wheat crêpes (sweet) are also good but could use a little more butter... (But that's just my taste). The staff (young) are friendly. Remember to book. Choose a table inside rather than a spot in the shopping arcade.

10/09/2026: A classic crêperie that offers takeout. However, ordering both a savory and a sweet crêpe is beyond the servers' capabilities. The first time, the sweet crêpe wasn't included and therefore not charged. The second time, it was charged, but not cheaply. And today, a very greasy sausage galette that completely fell apart, revealing a sausage the size of a small chorizo. I understand that inflation forces choices about quality products, but at €9.50, when I could have paid half the price at a market (even though I know restaurant overheads aren't the same), it's still hard to swallow. I tried three times; two was too many.

11/12/2025: We ate there today and we won't be going back. We were served a bowl of salad with three large green leaves for €3.20. For dessert, my wife, who is lactose intolerant, ordered a chocolate/almond crepe for €5.60, asking for a buckwheat crepe batter instead of a regular crepe batter. Without warning, she was charged an extra €3, which is over 50% more. Generally speaking, I'd add that the crepes are very sparsely filled (three apple slices in an apple crepe). What a rip-off! If you eat at this creperie, don't make the same mistake we did: check your bill twice before paying.

30/11/2025: Delicious, generously filled crêpes, lots of variety, and honestly, we've always received a warm welcome, without any pretense. For us, the best crêperie on Place au Beurre.
