01/03/2026: Very disappointed by the service at La Pataterie this evening.
There were three of us motorcyclists, and we arrived at 9:45 PM thinking we could still have dinner. We were categorically refused entry, claiming the establishment was closing, even though the posted hours indicated a later closing time.
No offer of service, no effort made, and a rather cold welcome. When you post opening hours, it would be normal to respect them or at least welcome customers properly.
It's a shame, because after a long day on the road, it's exactly the kind of experience that makes you not want to return.
22/02/2026: I came with my family on Friday, February 20, 2026, at noon, and found a very welcoming restaurant. Parking is easy, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices. The service is quick, and the servers are friendly and helpful. I thought this establishment was closed… but it's not. It retains the spirit of La Pataterie. It's a shame it's the only one in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. Reservations are highly recommended for evenings and weekends! I'll definitely be back…

16/03/2026: Chez Luccio was a fantastic experience that delighted our taste buds. We went with friends, and not only were the dishes beautifully presented, but beyond that, they were absolutely delicious! We're talking about meals inspired by family recipes, so a huge thank you for sharing this culinary expertise with us 🙏 We had no idea pizzas could be so delicious before discovering Chez Luccio! 🥳
Pleasant service, reasonable wait, and top-notch quality. A wonderful discovery that's well worth the trip—we'll gladly be back very soon! 😁👋

07/12/2023: Pas pratique comme endroit pour travailler si besoin. Je m'y étais mise exprès pour cela, et ayant un appel important à passer j'ai demandé la possibilité d'arreter la musique un peu forte qq instants (le bar était quasiment vide à ce moment la). Le patron n'a pas été arrangeant et m'a demandé d'aller dehors si je ne voulais pas de musique...
23/09/2023: Juste incroyable ! Une cuisine recherchée et très savoureuse dans un cadre sympa au cœur de Meximieux.
