19/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to buy bread, sandwiches, pastries, and cakes there. It's truly excellent. The queue is long, which says it all. The saleswoman wasn't very friendly.

11/09/2026: I've been a customer since they opened, so I'm used to the slowest sales assistants in the department, but on top of that, they're becoming unpleasant and rude! I just encountered one I'd never seen before. Not only did she make a mistake giving me the wrong change, but she also had the nerve to tell me it was my fault? Of course, no apology or remorse, even though it was entirely her fault! I don't understand their recruitment system. They hire the best pastry chefs and bakers, but also the worst sales assistants.

An excellent bakery! The products are truly delicious and of very high quality, with a wide selection and amazing flavors. Special mention goes to the waitress, who is lovely, smiling, and very pleasant. It's such a pleasure to be welcomed so warmly!
I wholeheartedly recommend this bakery, both for the quality of the products and the service. A truly wonderful place! 🥐🥖❤️

07/09/2026: The daily special is either veal (€19) or sea bream ceviche (€20). We ordered two daily specials: veal and sea bream. The veal was fine. We were served a small whole grilled sea bream and charged €29... instead of €20.
Only the daily specials were mentioned when we ordered. Subtle and slightly underhanded. It was the sea bream on the menu, not the daily special... I certainly won't be back! It's not the price, it's the method that bothers me.
31/08/2026: Meh. Went for a crepe in the afternoon, waited ages just to take our order even though the place was practically empty. When it came time to pay, the waiter grumbled because he was constantly going back and forth between the dining room and the terrace downstairs… he barely said goodbye, you could tell he was fed up. He should find another line of work. The exterior is beautiful and inviting, but once inside, you just want to leave.

03/10/2026: A chill, cozy place with a terrace overlooking the sea.
28/09/2026: Super mixed feelings about this place. The view is amazing, the cozy vibe is great, and the pastries/food are really tasty. But the service is a complete mess. The line stretched out the door, and with 5 people behind the counter, ( and a running owner cleaning the dishes here and there) it felt like only one was actually doing anything.
We had to guess what to do after ordering, and our hot sandwich was totally forgotten until we asked twice , no apology either. Tap water is free, but they didn't even have proper glasses out. Small drinks, pretty basic coffee despite all the hype, and high prices. Worth stopping by once for the view, but that's about it.

26/09/2026: Contrary to all the negative reviews, I only have positive things to say. I immediately felt at ease. A classic brasserie offering good food and drinks, where locals gather. The owner is very friendly and takes good care of his customers. It's my favorite brasserie in Cagnes-sur-Mer.
13/09/2026: I ordered a steak tartare and my wife had a Caesar salad. For the pre-prepared tartare, I had to search for the capers, onion, and egg yolk. There was no salt or pepper on the table, no Tabasco sauce, etc. The meat was almost liquid and not cold. The basket of fries was only half full, even though it was small. The croutons in my wife's Caesar salad had a strange taste. There was only one napkin for two people, even though we asked for one when we sat down. There were two waiters and I assume the boss. No one seemed very concerned. The young waitress and the boss were smoking in the alley next door, and the second waitress was running around everywhere. Not great, a shame.

25/07/2026: We managed to get a table on the terrace despite our late arrival. From the very first conversation, I sensed a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere; we quickly felt at ease. The brasserie is located on a pedestrian street opposite the covered market. I soon realized that most of the customers were regulars.
We ordered aperitifs and main courses; we weren't in a hurry, and the terrace was truly lovely.
The dishes were delicious, generous, and homemade. My husband had lasagna, and I had seafood risotto with prawns.
For dessert, we indulged in profiteroles and rum baba.
I was definitely not disappointed—finally, a real rum baba with rum!
We will be back very soon, and I highly recommend it.

It wasn't even worth staying.
Dirty glasses and a lack of willingness to explain the menu to a tourist.

13/08/2024: Nous y sommes allés sur les coup de 16h pour le goûter et nous n'avons franchement pas été déçus. De la pana cotta, en passant par la tarte au citron meringuée, tout est délicieux et très bien présenté. Le personnel est top !
01/08/2024: We love this restaurant. The food is great: good choices, well prepared and delicious at good prices. It might not be quite haute cuisine but the relaxing ambience and atmosphere with the incredible views more than make up for it you will have a lovely time there. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. We have been three times so far, and have already booked to go again in August when we return to France.
