20/03/2024: Wow! Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service. We had a bottle of the house red wine, fish stuffed ravioli in beurre blanc, duck and prawns with the house sides of the day (julienned spring veggies, mashed sweet potatoes, and fresh French fries). All were homemade and you get a great romantic experience of seeing the fire where the proteins are prepared. We were also offered an amuse bouche of chickpea flour pancakes, local to the area and with a healthy punch of salt. Do not skip dessert! We indulged in a sweet dessert wine and the best chocolate mouse we have ever had - a special recipe of the chef. We had the great experience of talking to the owners, a charming husband and wife duo, about food, France, and life. This restaurant is a can’t miss gem for locals and travelers alike.

05/03/2024: A beautiful story of discrimination. One Friday evening in February, we arrived in front with 4 friends, including a blind man with his guide dog. The bouncer doesn't want to let us in with the dog, which is against the law. When we point it out to him, presenting the guide dog card mentioning the fine incurred, the bouncer (dimly lit) laughs in our face then tells us "you just have to go to the police station, the more you insist the less you will return." Two of our friends from the group were already inside, I went to look for them and took the opportunity to chat with the manager of the bar, a young tattooed woman (hi if you recognize yourself) who explained to me that it was for the good of the dog because there are people (a little certainly but the bar is far from being full) and the dog (whom she has never seen in her life) is going to be scared. When I explain to her that the owner knows her dog's needs better than she does and that not letting them in is discrimination, she yells at me, waving her arms in the air: "well, go do it." bring your dog in and if there is a problem, I will not be responsible.” We preferred to leave than give money to people who practice humiliation and discrimination. Next time, get informed, you naughty people (I'm careful with my words so as not to be more vulgar in the face of your stupidity).

30/03/2024: We stayed in Cagne for three days and we ate in this restaurant two evenings. Everything is very clean, the staff is very friendly (a quality which unfortunately I admit I have not always found in France). The food is very good, the thin pizza as I like it has nothing to envy of the Italian one. Good value for money. I advise

30/04/2024: Having been to lunch we can only recommend the restaurant “Why not?”. From the very friendly and professional welcome to the different menus offered, we were delighted. The boss is very attentive and remarkably kind, as are the staff. A final word to conclude: well done and thank you again.
