07/07/2026: The service was great until we got the owner. We had an issue with our order and she (at first) refused to change it. We ended up paying for something we didn’t even consume. And honestly the food was not fresh at all. Wouldn’t come back. Keep walking and you’ll find way better options at the same price.

06/07/2026: I go to the counter to order inside. They ask me to go outside to place my order with the waitress. I reply that I want to sit inside, and that I don't really understand the logic of going outside to order... and then going inside once I've finished my drink. They tell me that's just how it is. And besides, discussions about wages and unpaid overtime at the counter don't interest the customers.

29/07/2026: The service and product quality are unbeatable. The staff always welcomes you with a smile, which is a wonderful plus.

11/07/2026: For several years now, I've had the pleasure of going to Mamma Mia for a meal, a drink, or a coffee. It's always fantastic, with a warm and friendly atmosphere—it's like a little local bistro. We even had the pleasure of having a farewell party there—it was amazing! Thank you for everything.

08/07/2026: The pizza was excellent! But unfortunately, the owners are very cold, never smile, and don't accept any feedback, even polite comments. It's a real shame; we get the impression they're always in a bad mood. The wife isn't friendly at all! Especially since they have a very pleasant place with a lovely terrace. It's a real shame for the atmosphere.

23/05/2026: Both the food and the service were impeccable! A big thank you to Marco, a truly delightful owner, known for his friendliness and excellent customer service! We enjoyed several dishes, but the octopus was a real treat! I highly recommend it and will gladly return as soon as possible.

28/07/2026: We were approached by the manager, who seemed friendly. We ordered mussels marinière, but about twenty of the three pots were unopened. We pointed this out to the waiter, who said nothing. We mentioned it again when paying, and the only response he could give us was, "I don't know what to tell you." No gesture of goodwill. Not even an apology, which would seem the bare minimum. We certainly didn't choke on the tiny portion of fries. We obviously only ordered the main course, and didn't leave a tip given his nonchalance. €86.50 for three limoncello spritzes, three pots of mussels (minimal, considering all the waste) with fries, and a bottle of Sanpelegrino is quite expensive. In short, a tourist trap to avoid, and don't let the manager influence you.

27/07/2026: Extremely expensive for the quality. Poorly washed mussels. Not-so-great pasta. We'll never go back.

18/07/2026: The meal was very basic, both in quality and quantity. The quality of the meat definitely needs improvement. In my opinion, all the desserts were frozen; I tried the lemon tart, which was mediocre. It's a shame because the setting is very pleasant, romantic, and enjoyable.

14/07/2026: A wonderful evening, I would definitely repeat it. The tartare was fabulous and the mille-feuille was wow...kudos to the chef.

24/07/2026: Very nice terrace. Cozy atmosphere. The food is very good. However, the service doesn't live up to the quality of the place and the food. We asked three times for a carafe of water (two different servers), and we finally got it at the very end of the meal after mentioning it. After 20 minutes, still no coffee... they're disorganized. It's a shame, it didn't make for a good experience.

13/04/2026: Had the absolute best veal liver with garlic & parsley sauce - just so tender and full of flavour!!!! Of course with a side of veggies and potatoes. Perfect 🤩 it’s a relaxed atmosphere but “the boys” are all over it with good service! I would highly recommend

04/07/2026: We ate at the neighboring hotel for several days on a half-board basis. The welcome was warm and professional (a waitress who was always smiling). The menu was varied and of high quality. I recommend it. I have wonderful memories of the risotto and the panna cotta.

18/07/2026: Overall, it was a good experience with a few drawbacks. The food was very nice and enjoyable, although it wasn’t anything particularly special. The restaurant became very crowded when we arrived, which made the experience a bit less comfortable. The service was average—nothing bad, but nothing outstanding either. My biggest concern was the men’s bathroom, which was very dirty when I went to wash my hands. It was unhygienic enough that I didn’t even feel comfortable using it. I believe the entire bathroom needs to be renovated and maintained much better. With some improvements to cleanliness and service, this place could offer a much better overall experience.

22/07/2026: Pizza is very mediocre, calamar is not good either. Toilet is a disgrace. Restaurant does not give a good impression about cleanness. It is a pity that our last dinner in Menton was in here. I should have checked the reviews in advance. It has a very good potential though, if it would be run good it would be very good place.

21/07/2026: Despite Christian's good service, the food and ingredients are completely subpar; it's a disgrace. The Greek quinoa salad, served for €19, is simply arugula salad with bits of fake feta; the quinoa is practically nonexistent, just a topping, and the olives are awful. Everything is low-quality: the fries are the cheapest, the fish tartare wasn't fresh and had clearly been left out in the open. Even the bread is an insult to France. It's a shame, because the location is beautiful.
