15/03/2026: We paid ~60 euros for 2 people and: - we found a long white hair (i let you guess whose was it) in the salad - which was replaced without an apology from the waiter - ate almost shoulder to shoulder with other customers - the tables are stuck to each other - the beef was overboiled - left hungry - did not get a receipt - I hope the business pays the VAT to the state and declares their sales volume, especially since they do not accept cards (that leave electronic trace) On the positive note, the bread and the cappuccino were good.

08/03/2026: This restaurant lives up to its reputation. The meal was prepared with local ingredients, and there was nothing to criticize in terms of either the food or the service. Well done!

04/04/2026: The food was very good, the service was excellent!!!! However, the stamp on the receipt wasn't straight and wasn't centered!!! This needs to be corrected. Thank you, have a good evening 🤣🤣

08/03/2026: We came on the evening of March 8th with five friends and had a most enjoyable time. From the service to the food, everything was perfect—a true immersion in Corsican cuisine and products. Many thanks to Le Maquis for their warm welcome and excellent service; it's a 10/10 for us.

13/03/2026: First time in France and we were a little anxious about not being able to speak much French, by which I mean, we about just manage Bonjour. The restaurants was tucked away on a little side street in the centre of Nice but it absolutely looked the part. The manager was absolutely brilliant, spoke great English, which was massively appreciated despite us being in a French speaking country.. he was attentive, kind and super quick on the ball. The food was to die for. The Truffle Crème Gnocchi was divine, cannot recommend it enough, my partner had the spag Bol, it was demolished. For desert we had the apple pie and the Crème brûlée. Both absolutely incredible. Can’t rate this spot enough as a British tourist. Great staff, great food, great prices, all home made!

20/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant! We ordered two Caesar salads! The dressing was bad, and so were the chicken and tomatoes! Avoid at all costs! And incredibly expensive!

08/01/2026: My wife and I have been here many times. When friends visit us in Nice, we ALWAYS bring them to Oliviera. One of our favorites dining experiences in all of France. (And we've spent move the 1,000 night in France) Always fresh ingredients, well used in delicious dishes. It's in the tourist area but the food is the way the Niçoise eat (if they are a good cook). No CC bring cash. And buy some olive oil.

01/01/2026: My husband and I seemingly walking into Oliviera in Nice while we were on vacation. We have walked randomly into resturants many times before but this was a once in a lifetime experience for us. Sadly, I don't believe we will ever have experience food like this before. This happened almost 2 years ago! The food, the olive oil, the owner, the overall experience still sticks with us. I can't wait to go back one day with our daughter (who is only 1 years old right now).

08/04/2026: I usually don’t leave negative reviews but I feel diners should be aware that you are paying for a gorgeous ambiance and swift attentive service and not so much the food. For a seafood restaurant, everything was overcooked and rubbery and the pasta was not properly prepared. It wasn’t horrible but the food absolutely was not worth the money.
