20/09/2024: Cozy place with super tasty food close to the beach. You sit a bit sheltered from the hustle and bustle and the service is friendly and fast. Highly recommended!

17/09/2024: Today we had breakfast in this nice place! The food is well prepared, regular portions, the manager is very friendly and eager to serve customers, the place has a good atmosphere, for tourists! The prices, typical of Nice, very high!

24/09/2024: We came here on a weekday at 1pm after reading the good reviews - we actually ran here because we had no reservations and we were afraid it will be full (We were already turned away by a few places). When we arrived, we saw the place was empty. We should have taken this as a clue and just turn around to leave but we were too nice and decided to sit down. The food was... well I will let you look at the photo and decide. We remained the only diners there until the end. 4 tourists walked in, who spoke the same language as us. I saw them looking at their phone and saying "yes this is the place". Poor folks must have been misled by the good reviews as well. A part of me wanted to tell them to leave but they say that misery loves company. To make up for this, I am compelled to leave this review despite knowing I will be getting a death threat from the owner.

02/12/2024: Great discovery in the city center of nice decor with a cozy and chill atmosphere to eat superb pieces of beef. Perfectly cooked, crunchy on the rib and blue on the inside. Grill corner at the back of the restaurant for the show...well...speaking of show, order the large piece of beef and the waiter will come and cut it for you next to your table!!! Caring staff. Certainly a little expensive but everything has a price so don't really regret it.. Thank you all, I had a great time..even alone because I was traveling..

12/11/2024: A friendly place with refined cuisine and friendly, pleasant service. A good first time this afternoon. The dessert around “La fig” is to die for! The duck, a delight!

01/11/2024: The reception was indeed a little chilly, even though we had booked for four people. We were surprised that the waiter did not offer us the wine list, even though the wine cellars were obviously filled with very diverse bottles. We settled on the wines on the food menu, which were nice but not up to the quality of the dish. For the plate, the quail stuffed with foie gras, sucrines and candied onions was superb. The chef is an excellent sausage maker. Balanced and tasty citrus-based dessert. In summary, very good restaurant but the conviviality was not present that evening, neither in the dining room nor in the kitchen. Even if we don't get a second chance to make a good first impression, we'll try again...

30/11/2024: je voulez y aller depuis longtemps que l’ont m’en parler en très bien ( et puis vu dans meilleur quand C bon , et bien foutage de gueule total ! très bon mais prix exorbitant ! pissaladière la plus cher de ma vie! certe bonne mais en pays niçois 16€ la part !!! en calculant d’après mon expérience et la taille de là tourtières à peu près 8 parts dedans et cela fait la pissaladière à 128 € !!qui dit mieux ! les portions petites et le vin très cher ! donc à éviter, endroit spécial touristes!

28/11/2024: Niçois fuyez cet attrape touriste. La pissaladière est bonne certes, mais 16 euros pour une part (triangle perdu dans l'assiette , pas une pissaladière entière) c'est hallucinant de prendre les clients pour des pigeons (l'oignon est devenu si rare est si cher que ca?) la daube est vraiment sans plus! bref 93€ pour deux sans desserts ni entrées, c'est bien la dernière fois que j'y met les pieds. preuve à l'appuie.

01/10/2024: We ate dinner at this restaurant on 9/26/24. First, there was a loud knocking sound coming from an area near our table, we were tired from traveling and therefore did not want to complain. We both ordered filet mignon, medium. The plates came, with a mashed potato side. My steak was cooked properly, however my partner’s steak was raw. Upon returning it, about ten minutes passed, and when we flagged down the waitress, she looked at us as if to say ‘I forgot’. She brought the steak back to the table with a new plate of mashed potatoes, both items were cold and to top it off the steak was still raw. We told her that it was the same as when we returned it originally. She offered to buy us dessert, which we did not want and then offered us a glass of wine , which we did not want. A reputable restaurant would have taken the steak off the bill. They did not. Our bill was 127 Euros which included drinks. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend the restaurant at all.

24/09/2024: Dinner on the enclosed terrace last night was excellent. We had gazpacho and petits farcis nicois for starters. Both were favorable and generous. We both followed with sole meuniere, boned expertly tableside. It was delicious and accompanied with excellent small vegetables and mashed potatoes. The short wine list is well chosen and priced correctly. I recommend it.

05/12/2024: Mon Dieu, Quand on entre, déjà ça sent très fort le " graillon et la friture " .. pas agréable ! Expérience ultra décevante question nourriture : - frites complètement molles - cuisson demandée pour le boeuf : rosée. Mais la viande est pratiquement crue - le sel doit couter trop cher pour qu'il en soit mis dans le burger ( burgé ici ) Résultat c'est cher et totalement insipide, un vieux MacDo est hélas bien supérieur en goût à ce que propose Gros Fernand

24/09/2024: Very very disappointed with this restaurant which had a good reputation. I don’t really question the quality of the dishes (and even so…) but it’s the quantity on the plates! We come out hungry after an aperitif, a starter and a main course! The service is just passable, 45 minutes of waiting between a starter and a main course. And for the price paid, the smile would not have cost me more! Go on your way! I will give you better addresses on rue Bonaparte!

21/09/2024: Good evening, We went there as two couples in the evening. The men were drooling over the 600 g of Châteaubriant à la carte and hoping to have a feast but had a nervous laugh when they saw the meat arrived (you should probably have your kitchen scales checked^^); we were not far from 600 g... and dare I mention the 6 small rigatoni (placed very delicately by the waiter that said) which fought a duel? The sole for 2 for the women was hardly more plentiful… Overall, however, it was very good but we were particularly disappointed by the small portions and the absolutely ridiculous prorated price: €300 for 4 with 4 aperitifs, 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts… without being full at the end :- / Friendly atmosphere and good service. It was previously one of our favorite addresses in Nice but we really became disillusioned, it’s a shame!

30/07/2024: The food was tasty, good portion. Steak with pepper sauce is highly recommended. Asked twice about something, but nothing was done. Shame

18/07/2024: Wonderful lunch! We happened to be passing en route to Evrlst record store and noticed it was popular and the ‘steak frites’ looked good so we decided to come back for lunch… so glad we did! The special was Pave de boeuf with frites, delicious and such good value. My husband had the tuna nicoise, much better than other more expensive establishments in old town. The pizza was also good and the local rose wine was the best I had during my week in Nice. Pleasant, efficient service at great prices, highly recommended!

With passion and efficiency, he will show you the historical and cultural places. He will ensure the Enjoy your stay. My week in this hotel was a real pleasure. I highly recommend!!

22/09/2024: So friendly staff and good drinks. We felt welcome and we had a great time. Will be back here when in Nice! Mo was really charming and we had so much fun.
