09/11/2025: The owner's behavior was unacceptable and disrespectful. The onion soup had no broth at all. We ate on the veranda, we were all freezing, and we ate in our down jackets. When it came time to pay, the manager was rude and unprofessional. Avoid this place!

30/11/2024: I couldn't even go there because the reception was so nasty. I call her to see if we can make reservations and she tells me no, so I ask her if it's worth coming or if there are a lot of people at the moment for the afternoon, the waitress tells me says “I don’t read into the future so I don’t know if there are people”!!!!!! Execrable!!!! She repeated it 2-3 times while I just asked if there was a crowd or not to know if it was worth the trip. Really a shame, we would have really liked to come.

19/11/2024: I was happy to go there, it was a surprise for my girlfriend. From the moment we entered, we didn't like it. Not in relation to the place itself or by the customers who were there or the cats, but by the waitress with glasses who was, let's say… not very welcoming. We felt like we were disturbing, we didn't feel good the whole time. Basically, we wanted to eat there, but in the end, we only had a coffee: it was good, but cold, although clearly, with 5, 6 tables to serve, it is not complicated to serve 2 coffees! (It takes 5 seconds right?) Then, behind me, there was a family with a cat on their table sleeping, so cute 🥹 they were petting it and everything was going very well. When I got up to go to the bathroom, I wanted to stroke the tip of the nose of one of the sleeping cats. WOE! What should I not have done! I was reprimanded like a child, the waitress was not friendly at all, who almost shouted to tell me, even though there was no noise in the cafe, she could have just told me nicely, but still once, I don't think this young girl is very nice. She knows how to respect animals, a good point for her (but not very complicated) but humans on the other hand are something else. And I totally understand that you shouldn't disturb cats when they're sleeping, but there are ways to say it. I won't go back there again. CHANGED WAITRESS

17/09/2024: I ate there last week. The place is nice and so are the workers, but I didn't like the food. It looks delicious but the sauce (which already comes inside the sandwiches) is not pleasant. The quality of the food is good but the combination of flavors is not. I had a tea from the house but the taste was not pleasant either, it was like sour, like stale. It was a bit disappointing since I paid €9 for the sandwich. If they changed the sauce I would give it another chance.

18/09/2024: There are few two-stars Michelin restaurants nearby. I visited two of them during this holiday. Unfortunately, I think I got the hopes up too high. As much as I really appreciated the effort the chef made (some of them are good enough to get stars), this place seemed to have room for some improvements. Especially, the hospitality and the service was definitely not qualified for Michelin two stars restaurant based on my experiences. It had taken more than 30 mins to have the next dish in some case since they took the previous dish away and I think it took almost 6 hours to finish the dinner. (They might have had some communication miss during the serve...) It's okay to have some proud as a Michelin restaurant, but it was a bit nuisance to see the attitude of the server. It was not only us to think that way, because the other people around me actually said the same. I haven't felt that way when even I visited several higher-ranked restaurants in Paris or the other cities ever. I felt a bit sorry for a promising and talented restaurant to be evaluated this way. Last but not least, it might be not the best place for Asian tourists for some reason. If you taste the dishes, you can easily acknowledge the familiar Asian touch. It may be not a kinda restaurant you expect when it comes to French dining. (It's a matter of getting used to it. Western people may possibly think different way)

25/09/2024: Honestly, most of the reviews are false, I think, or else there are problems somewhere, it's not possible. It's a tourist trap. The service is hypeeeeer long while the restaurant is almost empty. The waiters get the order wrong. The minimalist menu makes us think it’s a high-end restaurant but brings us pasta that we make with the leftovers in the fridge. And the children's menus are clearly nonsense with white pasta without anything...no sauce or accompaniment, not even any Cheese you had to ask for! In short, there is so much better in Nice. And for a lot less expensive because the prices are high on top of that. I won't go back there.

29/11/2024: An absolute Gem 💎 of a place. Hidden away from busy, loud roads, by a green park, you can find this amazing brasserie. It is very different from many other tourist-biased, soulless places, but is rather a community of very kind, generous, honourable, and lively people who value respect, manners, and are very empathetic. One can say it's a locals' place, with which I agree, and this status is honestly deserved. Delicious food, rapid service, reasonable prices, and most importantly - a home-like atmosphere. Very happy I found it. Strongly recommend👍🏻

04/09/2024: Good situation and communication. Quiet and quiet. Correct breakfast. Deal with staff, friendly and attentive. Fair size room and small bathroom.

03/09/2024: Small room, but clean and modern. Great pool area, nice and very helpful staff. You cant come very much closer to the trainstation, so great for arriving by train. Ok breakfast. Cool or hot drinkingwater available to refill your flask on the ground floor before the elevators :)

25/09/2024: The food at this restaurant is exceptional, our dishes were delicious: eggplant burrata, fried squid circles and fish. The signature cocktails are a standout.

25/09/2024: We ate well in this restaurant but the service was not well organized. They brought us the aperitif (cocktails) at the same time as the dishes! We didn't even have time to drink our aperitif! When we pointed it out at the end, the waiters seemed like they didn't care and were only slightly apologetic. There are better addresses in Old Nice!

20/09/2024: We ate excellently. Gnocchi with gorgonzola, ravioli with mushrooms and truffles, linguini with seafood were excellent. The service was good and quick. The price is reasonable for the quality and fast service. We were absolutely satisfied.

01/12/2024: Waiting 40 minutes to be served! What shocked us was the 4€50 for a cola champagne. The chicken didn't have much flavor but it was still OK for a bokit.

29/11/2024: I discovered Le Hamac Kreole one evening on my way home from work, it is located right next to the L1 Riquier tram stop. Festive, multi-colored sign. Nice atmosphere with a Caribbean-themed bar and a West Indian restaurant. Le Hamac Kréole takes you on a journey with its aromas and flavors, from its cocktails to its dishes, once you enter you are already in the Caribbean. Even alone to sip a beer you will not be bored in the company of Dominique, the owner of the restaurant who is always smiling and kind. I highly recommend Le Hamac Kreol to anyone who wants to relax and try something new.

10/09/2024: Riktigt god mat, meny med flera val av förrätt, huvudrätt och dessert, några val med lite tillägg på priset. Okej vinlista även om jag blev förvånad att det bara fanns ett mousserande vilket var champagne.

29/08/2024: Excellent evening spent at Petite Cocotte. Smiling family team, excellent value for money. Our compliments for the lemon ravioli, the Saint-Marcellin and truffle burger, without forgetting the homemade lemon and crumble pannacotta.

13/12/2024: Déception totale de la carte. Un suprême de volaille = 1 escalope fine panée accompagnement inexistant, millefeuille mou . Noys y allions pour les fêtes depuis plusieurs années mais à partir de maintenant à fuir indigne d un restaurant tel quel.

30/11/2024: Bel emplacement, terrasse ensoleillé, bruyante mais on ne peut pas faire autrement. accueil un peu à la tête du client, service standard, bonne qualité des plat du jour (18 €) heureusement ! Restaurant pour touristes essentiellement.

02/11/2024: Ensaladas encantadoras! La comida era genial y el servicio genial también. Personal amable y agradable El restaurante está en Promenade des Anglais, muy agradable y limpio y siempre lleno. Sirven una cesta de pan con las ensaladas, pan increíble.
