26/02/2026: What a wonderful discovery! The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive.
I highly recommend it. We were a party of three adults and three young children, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We opted for the pizzas, and they were delicious.
A big thank you to the team!

13/06/2026: Perfect. We discovered this refuge by chance, and we'll be back again and again. The food is matched only by the warm welcome and hospitality that emanate from this magnificent place. We found simple yet delicious home cooking. Our hosts were exceptionally kind. Thank you for these wonderful moments, both past and future.

10/05/2026: The crêpe batter recipe and cooking method, whether using wheat or buckwheat flour, were simply perfect. They were also generously filled. The welcome and service were delightful.

The dining room is well-furnished and decorated, with wood paneling, wainscoting, and stone cladding on the walls, and carpeting on the floor. A pellet stove is available if needed. A large bay window opens onto the terrace, facing the main street. Wi-Fi is available.
This restaurant serves a good selection of savory buckwheat galettes and sweet crêpes. It also offers an extensive menu of meat and fish dishes.
My galette was large, piping hot, generously filled, and very tasty.
My crêpe was also very good. There's a nice drinks menu with wines, beers, ciders, sodas, and juices.
I had a great time during my meal and I recommend this establishment.

It took an hour and a half to be served, and when we pointed it out, we were met with a rude response…
We ordered steak tartare (without tasting it and with no condiments provided), and the suggested dishes were disgusting, greasy, and salty, with practically nothing on the plate. Honestly, it was shameful!!! Don't go there!!! Avoid it at all costs!
08/07/2026: We arrived at 11:50 am, hoping to have lunch together. The waitress explained that it wasn't yet time for service and that they needed to eat their own lunch first. She offered us a seat and a drink while we waited.
I completely understand that there are schedules to keep and that the staff also need their breaks. However, the way she said it could have been a bit more tactful.
Once service began, everything went very well. The food was delicious and well-prepared, and we had a pleasant time. A little improvement in the initial welcome would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

Plus de pâte que de garniture et peu de goût...fade..
Heureusement que le staff était très sympa.

à du contreplaqué, les pâtes étant trop cuites avec une sauce tomate recouverte de pistou…

29/07/2024: Le Birdie à Valberg près du Golf est un endroit où tout est réuni pour passer un bon moment: le cadre et la cuisine dans son ensemble. Mais, car il y a un mais, attention si vous faites remarquer au gérant que la viande qui a été préparée est en grande partie nerveuse, il se braque et vous prend pour un ou une c...C'est un crime de lèse majesté qui est de suite puni! Il vous réplique qu'il n'est pas dedans pour tout voir mais que la prochaine fois il parlerait à la viande, j'ai bien écrit "qu'il parlerait à la viande". Une suffisance qui n'est pas d'alloi dans ce genre de situation.
Notons que la remarque au sujet de la tendreté de la viande s'est faite avec courtoisie, sans véhémence et en présence de 5 autres personnes qui ont relevé le manque de politesse et de réflexion totalement déplacée!
Ayez plutôt à faire à son fils qui est très souriant et plus commerçant que le gérant qui devrait éviter le contact avec la clientèle et rester derrière la caisse, pour le plus grand bien du chiffre d'affaire et de la clientèle...
