15/09/2024: Came here on a food tour and loved it. We had a lovely anchovies dip, pop corn, focaccia, and vegetable mix that was perfect for sitting and sipping wine

14/09/2024: The daily menu was very successful. The starter was very lovingly prepared and full of flavor. The main course as a photo in the post a poem. 01/10/2024: We had their two special dishes, the bouillabaisse and the slow cooked pork (cochon). Both were very tasty and hearty. Started with oysters that were fresh and flavourful. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. The restaurant may look a bit touristy… but it well worth a visit.

14/09/2024: Nous avons bien mangé mais les prix sont un peu gonflés pour ce qu’il y a dans l’assiette. Pas assez de légumes dans la plancha de poissons grillés. La persillade d’encornets était excellente et bien pourvue. Le service était bien et le serveur gentil et efficace.

13/07/2024: Very warm welcome even late on Saturday evening! A small table set up on the sidewalk to enjoy the busy street. The falafel sandwich was delicious, no complaints other than we want to try everything on their menu. An address to remember in Marseille for cravings at any time of the day.

02/09/2024: Tucked away off the beaten path, this is a gem of a place. We got the fish of the day which was cooked incredibly well and flavorful with perfectly cooked vegetables, as well as the mixed salad. Trivially but of note: This is the only restaurant we’ve been to so far that has given us pitchers of ice cold water with continuous refills which offered us much appreciated respite in the hot weather. Wonderful vibes and service. Would definitely recommend!

21/09/2024: La bouillabaisse était comme annoncé très chère (comme partout) mais sans goût. Au point que nous n'avons pris aucun plaisir à ce repas et que nous n'avons pu finir nos assiettes. La soupe de poisson était claire et vraiment peu parfumée, les poissons en quantité en paraissaient insipides. Le service en 3 temps est sans doute traditionnel et culturel mais il n'a plus vraiment lieu d'être : nous nous sommes dispensés du 3e service avec encore du poisson bouilli dans du bouillon pas bon. La bouillabaisse, à l'origine un plat simple et peu onéreux de pêcheurs, semble encore réalisée selon cette recette ancestrale, mais elle est vendue à un prix sans commune mesure ! Un attrape-nigaud sous couvert de tradition provençale. Ce n'est pas mieux probablement dans les autres restaurants qui servent cette specialité.

26/09/2024: Ristorante Francese che si presenta bene, ci sono 3 menù fissi oltre alla possibilità di cenare alla carta. Nel menù da 26 € c'era un ottimo antipasto di tartara di tonno con salsa di avocado, la famosa zuppa di pesce è stata una delusione. Il gelato finale è stato buono.

Likewise, since everything is home-made, there isn't a choice huge: 6 dishes on the menu, so for those who are a little picky eaters it can be tense). It's also a beer cellar, so great wine at the table. The waiter and the owner are very nice, they made me small plates for the children. The front of the restaurant doesn't look like much, but honestly go there with your eyes closed.

25/07/2024: 84 € pour deux personnes avec apéritif, entrée (succulente), plat (un bar entier avec une sauce citronnée a tomber) et ses petits légumes, dessert (excellent), 50 cl de vin et autant d'eau gazeuse.... Nous avons adoré notre repas, le service était top et le cuisinier adorable, la cuisine maison, tout va bien dans ce resto ! Bref, quand nous reviendrons sur Marseille, on y retourne sans hésiter 👍
