15/07/2026: I have lived in Marxay for 3 years and have been here countless times, always satisfied every time I visit! All the staff are friendly, and above all, the food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it to Koreans as well ❤️

19/05/2026: I enjoyed the orange blossom flavor in the pancakes. However, the topping (guacamole, avocado, and scrambled eggs) wasn't very generous, which was a shame! Go there more for an herbal tea or iced tea. Quick service.

13/07/2026: Excellent traditional restaurant with a lively, authentic atmosphere. The grilled lamb was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the gratin dauphinois and pepper sauce. The café gourmand was a fantastic way to sample several delicious homemade desserts, all with a great espresso. Friendly, efficient service and great value. A place I’d happily return to on my next visit to Marseille.

31/05/2026: We were disappointed with our dinner. My friend was served a starter (poached eggs) that was unfortunately sprinkled with an overpowering spice that completely masked the flavor. My starter (cromesqui) was disappointing, a pasty, tasteless cromesqui on a bed of overly salty vegetables. My friend's main course, however, was delicious (pork ribs), and I didn't enjoy my own (lamb) either. The young man who served us was very nice. I wouldn't recommend it for the price.

01/07/2026: A truly charming place, with a super cozy internal courtyard. Excellent tapas and very kind and friendly staff. A wonderful evening!

10/06/2026: We had dinner as a group of three. We shared panisses (chickpea fritters), prawns in a pastis cream sauce, 7-hour slow-cooked pork ribs with barbecue sauce and potatoes, and octopus with parsley and garlic served with mashed potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious! The sauces were homemade and flavorful, the meats were cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes, which I don't usually like, were fantastic. As for the service… the same! Impeccable, neither too much nor too little. I highly recommend this place!!

29/07/2026: This is a very good restaurant located on the Old Port of Marseille, on the lovely Place Thiars! Fast service and excellent food! We had the charcuterie board with panisses and chicken tenders!

28/07/2026: A welcoming restaurant with contemporary and pleasant decor. The French cuisine is unconventional, simple, and well-executed. The dishes we tried were delicious and flavorful, carefully prepared but without over-the-top or overly elaborate touches. The service was polite, punctual, and completely standard, without any flaws.

17/07/2026: The service was friendly and quick, but overpriced for what was offered. The grilled sardines had no seasoning, the green salad was tasteless, and the homemade fries were soggy and bland. The price was far too high for the quality. The same goes for the salmon dish.

10/07/2026: The staff were incredibly attentive and offered excellent advice. The location on the square was lovely and airy, with plenty of space. The wine cellar boasted a superb selection of wines. The beef tataki was a true marvel of taste and flavor. Highly recommended.

04/07/2026: I just ordered a chicken salad through Uber Eats. I think it's really disappointing. The chicken salad was already mixed with the dressing, so it arrived completely soggy and deflated. It was packaged in a cardboard box. It's a shame because the octopus and the dressing were good. The portion was very small and definitely not worth the price.
