22/07/2026: We had the lobster menu. The food was excellent, but a bit pricey. The service was very pleasant, except for the owner who didn't smile much. It was a lovely experience, and the setting is superb. I highly recommend it for a romantic meal.

Changed jobs, people on the terrace.
Avoid.
Zero stars would be too much.

But the owner is anything but friendly. A rude character.

29/05/2026: Really nice restaurant. Great choice on the menu, very reasonable too. 3 course menu has lots of good choices, steak and salmon were really good.
25/05/2026: A small, quiet place with good, simple, and satisfying food. I highly recommend this nice little restaurant; it's definitely worth the detour. The staff are welcoming and always smiling. The prawns are truly excellent ;)

16/07/2026: I went into the pizzeria and said hello, but the cook didn't respond. I asked them to remove an ingredient, but they refused to lower the price. Plus, the pizza was burnt. I don't recommend these pizzas; they're a tourist trap.
12/07/2026: Excellent welcome despite the rush, very fast service. Super clean toilets.

24/05/2026: We wanted to book Chez Marion – a lovely hotel – for the Pentecost weekend, but the establishment appears to be closed. No one answers the phone and everything is shut down.
01/05/2026: Booked directly a week before May 1st for one night, April 30th. Arrived at the hotel at 4:00 PM, closed; at 6:00 PM, still closed, no one there. No one answered the phone and no response 😵💫 We found a room in Cabourg at the last minute at 7:00 PM. We were with a child, an elderly woman, and two dogs... So ZERO stars!!!

02/08/2024: Les moules étaient très bonnes. Les crêpes en dessert aussi. Personnel agréable. Situé proche de la mer avec service en terrasse. Nous avons passé un bon moment .
25/07/2024: Un grand plaisir pendant ce repas non seulement le personnel est aux petits soins et vraiment adorable, Mais également, nous nous sommes régalés ! Un fish and chips succulent Avec de gros morceaux de dos de cabillaud, Et de très bonnes glaces pour terminer! Aucun doute, dès que nous reviendrons déjeuner à Merville Franceville, nous nous « précipiterons » 😀 à l’Escapade

22/09/2024: Nous y avons dîné le 21 septembre lors du festival cidre et dragon menu à 20 euros accueilli à l entrée choisissez votre menu payez à peine installé servi au final les plats servis ne sont pas ceux choisis ajoutez à cela un serveur plus que désagréable et vous passez une excellente soirée
