23/05/2026: A chef with a lot of potential, but too inconsistent: the amuse-bouches were uninteresting. The starters were delicious! The fish and meat were cooked perfectly, but the side dishes didn't live up to expectations. The cheese course was very good, but the desserts were average… it's quite strange; the chef clearly has a knack for it, and oddly enough, it only shows occasionally.

11/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience at La Régence. We had a delightful time. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the food delicious. The chef, a true master of sauces, perfectly enhances the dishes with refined and flavorful sauces. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the cooking. And for lovers of gastronomy and art, the dining room is magnificent, with an elegant and charming ambiance that makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful restaurant in Trouville-sur-Mer that we will gladly return to.

09/05/2026: The food was decent (whelks and periwinkles were unseasoned but the mayonnaise was good, and the langoustines were slightly overcooked), the seafood was very fresh, and the dishes were decent, classic and well-made, without any surprises. We were expecting a quiet atmosphere, but unfortunately, the dining room was very noisy with a group that prompted us to skip dessert and leave. We were a little disappointed because there seemed to be a lack of creativity in the cuisine, except perhaps for the lobster gratin, which was good.

14/05/2026: Second visit to this small downtown restaurant. "Norbert" is as helpful as ever, and his food is delicious. A wonderful menu that's definitely worth exploring. His passion for cooking is contagious.

26/04/2026: We were in Trouville, unsure where to eat, and as we passed by Marinette Sylvain's restaurant, the waiter told us a joke, which made us want to go in. Everything was perfect: perfect service, perfect meal. Perfect, we'll be back.

17/05/2026: Our reservation for two people was accepted without any problem. However, as soon as we mentioned that we were accompanied by a one-year-old baby, the tone changed: we were told that "it would be complicated with the stroller." We had clearly stated that we didn't have a stroller. The restaurant owner then made it very clear that the problem was the presence of the child himself and that our visit was ultimately not welcome. This type of practice is legally questionable. In France, refusing a reservation because of the presence of a child constitutes discrimination. A report will therefore be filed with the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) so that your practices can be investigated.
