25/09/2026: A fantastic end to our holiday in Normandy. The food and service were perfect. A small but excellent restaurant near the cathedral in Ouistreham.

19/09/2026: We came in August by chance, but what a surprise: everything is delicious, refined, and beautifully presented. We went back for our 44th wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed; it's truly excellent. The young waitress is absolutely lovely and has a great sense of humor. We'll be back, thanks to the chef anyway. 😅

11/10/2026: If you're looking for a place for Sunday lunch, look no further: We had a wonderful time at La Baraka! Besides the delicious, homemade food, we received a very warm welcome and were truly pampered throughout our meal. Just one small drawback: there are no vegetarian options for starters.

10/09/2026: A very warm welcome in a pleasant setting. True professionalism and love in every dish for this authentic home-style cooking. The menu is enticing and the prices are reasonable. Special mention goes to the baked egg with raw milk Camembert and bacon, and to the crispy lamb. A rare and delicious find, the kind that's becoming increasingly rare.

One small drawback: Lobster is offered in the 7-course tasting menu without being informed of the €16 supplement, which is also not listed on the menu displayed at the entrance. Simply unacceptable for an establishment of this caliber.

21/10/2026: My partner and I came yesterday for a few drinks and to watch the Champions League match. We discovered a friendly, welcoming place with charming and friendly staff. The atmosphere is pleasant and intimate, unlike other overrated places offering the same type of experience. In short, a great place. We will definitely be back.

27/09/2026: Recommended by a vendor at the Saturday market, we went here for a coffee that we were told was the best in Bayeux, on par with Italian coffee. I can confirm that it's all true: the coffee is truly good, the place is very cute, and the staff is very welcoming and kind. The price is also lower than many others in the area. Highly recommended!

05/10/2026: This restaurant is, how can I put it… INCREDIBLE. I came with my partner, who was on crutches, and the staff took excellent care of us from start to finish. I highly recommend it; the food is high quality and everything is all-you-can-eat. The price reflects the quality.

23/10/2026: We think this restaurant is exceptional. Each dish on the discovery menu is a work of art and a sensory feast without being heavy or over-filling and exceptional value. We were also very impressed at how the chef accommodated the dietary requirements of my pregnant daughter and was able to ensure we enjoyed the whole menu without rushing us, as our guests had to change their plans to dash off and catch a ferry before Storm Austen hit. It was a real hit and our guests said it was the best meal they ever had! We are excited to come back again.
