A superb experience; the meal was excellent and the welcome warm. Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients. The value for money is truly outstanding.
The host is very friendly and recommended some lovely walks for us in the afternoon.

A lovely terrace.
One small drawback, however. When I asked for my steak to be well-done, the waitress corrected me, saying that if it was overcooked, the meat would be tough. As long as the customer is polite, they shouldn't be contradicted.
The restaurant is pleasant and nicely decorated.

16/10/2025: You who like a host to take care of you, passionately explain their products, the history of Auvergne, anecdotes galore. The food is excellent, the advice too. And as a bonus, a little joke about an Auvergne fly made my wife and I have a great time.

Le Gourmand lives up to its name!
A generous and expertly crafted burger: homemade foie gras, duck breast, thick ground beef patty, potato waffle, caramelized onions… all served with delicious crispy homemade fries.
The servers are lovely, the chefs know their stuff, and the value for money is simply unbeatable.
A real gem—authentic, hearty, and delicious! 🍔🔥
